That is what I did. You can see it in the pic. I am still getting some damn smoke. I am hopeful that it is just getting rid of the existing oil.

Dyno today if the roads are acceptable. There is a little snow on the roads and I have drag radials. Bad thing is the dyno that I have been going to closed. It was a dynojet and the new one is a mustang and known to be on the stingy side. Another issue I have is with the waste gate mufflers when I open the exhaust I get some boost creep to the point it is more boost than I have fuel system. With closed exhaust it works fine. I put dump tubes back on to see if that fixes it.

I made it to the dyno.
closed exhaust at 123kpa(3.4psi) was 476hp open exhaust at 136kpa(5.3psi) was 547hp I tried putting a crappy little boost controller on it and at the lowest setting it pushed the boost to ~155kpa and I ran out of hpfp. this is on ~e65. I don't have a solid comparison to before since this is a different dyno. I am reading the numbers are roughly 10-15% lower on a mustang than a dynojet if the mustang is calibrated properly. I removed the wg mufflers yesterday and it fixed my open exhaust boost creep. that being said once we left the dyno I tried an open exhaust pull and it promptly ran out of fuel even at under 6psi. I am sure that has something to do with it being 27deg out right now. it did lite up the drag radials at 70mph on the interstate. once it warms up a little I should be able to open the cut out. it is time to just enjoy the car and get to the track. sometime before fall I hope to have some port fuel injection.

I owned an AGP 5th gen 1LE until my friend trashed it.
OP Really nice work! You are a very skilled artisan. I wish I had the tools and the knowledge. One thing though, I would stay away from puddles, my filters were a little higher than that and I sucked in some H2O. My wategates were just dumped into the air. Fun for a little while, but then the steam engine sound got old. But the sound was very popular at the track. Hope those baffles work out.

Can't believe I'm just now seeing this thread. This is exactly what I'm wanting to do to mine eventually. Parish8...I'll assume the famous blue single cab and the rest of the other vehicle builds that followed?? Awesome fab work as usual

1/8 mile track tonight. Probably keep it at spring pressure with open exhaust which is around 5psi.
Some other fun news is the dynojet I got my baseline numbers on is getting reinstalled at another location so I should be able to get same dyno before and after numbers soon.

I was hoping for 6.99 and 100mph. Ended up getting a 7.05 at 104mph. That seems like a ton of mph for 5psi. This is with a full tank of gas and stock wheels.
There were at least 5 hellcats, best time I saw was 7.30@99 on one with drag radials.

Off topic and a shot in the dark here, are you the same 'Parish' that had a Blue chevy truck (and later a G8) that was featured by 1320video before they were the big bad popular youtube channel? If so Ive been following you since early/mid 2000's and could never find out if that big bad truck ended up breaking into the 9's..loved that thing!

yep, that's me. i tried many times to get 9 sec pass with that truck and never did. i had a lot of fun in that thing beating up on people on the street.

Shit is about to get real. Port injection, speed based boost control, nitrous control and a pile of other things I will be able to use it for eventually( 2 step, traction control)
I will start a new thread about the port injection part once I get going with it.
