if you are a paid entrant, you do not have to pay for lunchtime parade laps. make sure you eat and hydrate, then take your family out for a slow lap. no passing slow speeds, no helmets, all ages.
we can take a young one on instructor hot laps at like 14 years old. it might be 12, ill find out. i told them Don. Last edited by JOHNSONROD; 07-16-2016 at 05:37 PM. |

you could get lockton im sure. if there is an event that is not on their website already, you can email them and ask. ive done that before and they signed me up right away. you can get lockton through the corvette museum. it doesnt cost any more, the museum just gets credit for the sale.
ill email fred early next week and see if they will cover us. Last edited by JOHNSONROD; 07-17-2016 at 02:14 AM. |

I talked to lockton rep last year to get both the Camaro Fest track day on Thursday and Michaels Camaro track day on Friday included as one event for a cheaper rate for Camaro5.

For a novice like me @ NCM, this was a pretty cool video on how to drive NCM -- with an instructor narrative and HUD display!
An a hot lap: 3.2 mile layout: Study, study, study and 'visualize' the track ;o) -Don

i
the middle video above is the east course. the top and bottom video above are the layout we are running but they are extremely early videos with the old pit entry. this first video of mine is an extremely slow tutorial i made last year. it is fairly early too but is after we made the change to pit entry. this is the current pit entry we will be using.
here is the way the current track looks. it has some new curbs and the turn into turn 5 is now after the 1 marker not before like my tutorial video. this is the instructor group in the fastest group that runs at NCM. dont let this scare you off. we will be doing lead/follow slow laps for everyone to get comfortable first thing in the morning at our event. the novice and intermediate 1 groups will have an in car instructor and will be starting slow. this one is from one week ago. it shows a lot of the facilities. its me and my buddy dicing. this is the advanced group. |

i made a turn by turn the other day. i was in a quiet car so you could hear me talk. only problem was, in a Z06 my helmet cam shows the headliner more than it does the track. ill make it up and post it. the video is not a good angle at all but the audio is hillbilly gold lol.
