At op, stop wasting time trying to figure it out. Just give copy of recording to cops and let them handle it. You have a life and nothing to gain by trying to figure it out.

BIG props to MR.Sarge... many people would blow this off as "not my concern," but this is some serious shit. Some poor innocent is going to go down for something he did not do, and that is not cool. The world would be a better place if everybody took the time and effort to help out this way... I hope there's a person and decent as you if I ever get in a jam like this!

Very cool thread. Would love to know the story of the RT that got pulled over. Hopfully he didn't get arrested or anything like that. Not only would I get a copy to the police but I would try to find out who the RT owner is and get a copy to him/her.

Will update you all tmw with the outcome when I get in contact with the officer on duty that day.

As for posting in hellcat or challenger forums, no I didn't. Might not be a bad idea actually. Just not sure if that is a hellcat or if it's just a normal challenger because they seem to have two separate forums.

Well I was actually thinking of the guy that got pulled over since the video will help him out but yea I guess it could work both ways.

UPDATE:

I called and spoke to the arresting officer and told him that I witnessed the chase and the vehicles were different and I had proof via my dashcam and pics, and officer is saying "NO, I got the right Person".

I told him about the pics and dash cam footage I had and about the differences between the 2 cars and he is stating I am wrong. I offered to bring in my footage and he says he doesn't want it?!

WTF?!

How do I find out who the guy who got arrested is and who his lawyer is so I can get this video to him? At this moment things are sounding very sketchy and I would rather do this Anonymously now.
