You are right though, people are quick to bash Wal-Mart and their Employees and it is not even right. I happen to know several folks there.

I use to work for a Cake Company where my day started around 2:30am and ended when I was finished running my route. It killed my knees, in fact had to have surgery on one of them. Got sick and tired of living like that so I went back to school and finished my degree and here I am...

I kid folks that it took me 18 years to get a 4 year degree but hey, I finished.

Don't ever be ashamed of an honest day's work. It's the fools who are squeezing our system that should be hanging their heads.

Besides. You can work all the way up to store manager, or district manager from the ground up at Wally World. They make a very decent living.

Nice thing about this site is we have folks with heaps of higher education, some with very little education. We have people who are very wealthy, and some who can barely afford their car. Yet somehow we mostly manage to get along and have great discussions/camaraderie about these vehicles.

I find it very interesting to see what some of us here do to pay the bills and support our economy. It's such a wide demographic. I love it!

I'm a Satellite Communications Tech.(Government Contractor), but I also work on telephone switches and security systems as part of my job. For the most part I do the exact same job I had in the Army as a 29Y/31S.
