I ordered a 2017 2SS 50th Anniversary Convertible 6 weeks ago. My Dealer just called me this morning to advise it is scheduled to be built next week. I am anticipating delivery within the next 4 weeks.

This is a decent size Dealership, and this is the only "allotted" 2SS Anniversary Convertible they are scheduled to receive. Pretty stoked!

hey guys, new to the forum, ordered a 6speed 2ss 50th last week, trading in my 2014 1ss. my dealer told me they were only allowed 2 50ths per month and another local dealer had told me they could only get 1 per month, maybe has to do with sales numbers that determine how many the dealer can get?

Disclaimer - I don't know if the rear calipers on the 2LT have the logo or not, I've not heard/seen that version. So the 2LT would have possibly 2 fewer.

So that adds up to 14.

Remember this is only what came stock with the car from the factory and doesn't include any LPO or additional accessories (i.e. floor mats, center console lid, etc.).

I had the same delima that someone else on here had so let me chime in.... As a life long camaro guy I have had several camaros from each gen starting at age 16 (a longggg time ago). All of my cars have been lively colors as a muscle car should be IMO so when I saw the new Gen6 as they debuted it in Hyper Blue I knew that was the next car for me. That color is a homerun for GM. However.....after a lot of thought (months), I concluded that you only get 1 chance to buy a 50th anniversary car brand new in your lifetime, or at least in my lifetime, especially on a car that I have spent most of my life admiring and faithfully owning, so I pulled the trigger and ordered the 50th 2SS vert. It is in transit and I should have it by the end of this week. Now....no i am not a fan of grey cars but i do like the interior, wheels, brakes, sill plates, and orange highlights. Much better than the 45th car. This is just my 2 cents worth. I really enjoy this forum and reading/sharing with fellow camaro enthusiasts. Keep up the great posts.

I felt the same way. I was at the unveiling in Detroit and saw hyper blue metallic with kalahari interior and was in love. I waited to see what the 50th would bring. I said life is short and I wouldn't want a used 50th so I pulled the trigger. Working with Becky was so easy and fast & I got my car faster than getting it locally. I don't regret any moment of getting a 50th. The nightfall grey is a great color. The orange accents really bring the car alive.

These cars will be unlimited, but limited most likely by parts since the 50th uses so many unique parts (wheels, brakes, seats, dash, etc)

JTFIFTY & Kendell347 - just wanted to say thanks for sharing your stories/viewpoints. I too am torn between the HBM (with custom touches) that I have been planning on and daydreaming about for so long, and now the 50th Anniv. that has really started to grow on me & become a contender... ugh! can't. decide!
