Throw some sand in front of the tires, really make yourself work for it!

So...take off the catch cans?... Don't think I'm picking up alot of speed there
Or maybe the 3 ounces I saved with the lug nuts? That must of picked me up a few tenths!

So i'm thoroughly convinced my Stock TCM tune is keeping me from better numbers. I've had about 8 more attempts to break into the 4's and I've actually had some great launches with and without building boost but i can almost feel the TCM holding back on shifting. I've literally hit 5.0 and 5.1 secs 7 out of those 8 attempts.

I have every intention of getting my TCM tuned it's the process for a 2017 that's delayed it from happening among other financial priorities atm.

That's cool. I wasn't sure if you had finally broken down to the point that you were going to spend the coin HPT wants and deal with the downtime associated.

Yep, I'm very curious to see just how much GM is clamping down.

Hopefully the prices will come down. I think they will, but when?

Well I don't have any new pictures to show, but I was looking at my HP Tuners logs from today, and saw some nice gains.

I installed a preliminary tune today (bye bye warranty ), and went out for a test drive... Also made a stock tune log yesterday and last friday to compare to...

According to HPT my stock runs were 6.0-6.3 (with my 20" wheels, pretty close to on par with the dash screen)... Never

After the base tune was installed, the best run (still with the 20's) 0-60mph was 5.51... Better than my stock tune w/ the race wheels of 5.6... Several 5.5-5.7 launches. Tune works good so far.

I've never been able to break 6.0 with these heavy ass 20" wheels... I would guess a low 5 second 0-60 w/ the race wheels on.

Of course, I don't have any "dash proof" to show you... Maybe once I get the race wheels on again and get modded up, I'll try again.
