You have a nice evening as well.

Oh, and to continue the rumor I'm personally starting, the reason this site treats GM as a living God is the Gen6 launch will be at the C5Fest later this year. Heard it here first.

The Camaro Fest is in August at the Corvette Museum correct?

True. I meant in terms of releasing the 6th Gen. When I hear people say "Well I'm buying a Challenger if they don't reveal the 6th Gen"... I get tired of hearing that

12+ months delivery time in germany, still no information about the 6th gen and the design we already saw since 2009 already brought me to ordering a Mustang. I wanted a Camaro for so many years, but now that I had the financial possibilites to buy one it's just the better choice to get the more modern car with high quality interior (and just 3 months delivery time)

So it's a totally valid argument that people will not wait for the Camaro if other great looking cars have more value for the money atm.

Buying a car should not be an either or decision. It's not like the wait at Chilli's is too long so I'm going to Applebee's! If you always wanted a Camaro, then be patient. I have always wanted a Camaro since I was kid, when I finally was financially ready the Camaro was on the 4th Gen so I bought a 2003 Nissan 350Z touring. Engine threw a rod at 67000 miles because oil consumption issues with 3.5 V6 on the manual Z. Point is now coming off the great success of the 5th Gen, I would say the GM is probably going to give us a 6th Gen well worth the wait. Don't make a decision you may regret. Be patient.

you say you was a camaro fan and you got a 530Z over a 4 gen? HAHAHAHAHA!!!

in my case Im am a camaro fan but I placed an order for a GT A6 50th anniversary back in my home country, after Chevy Colombia told my father there is no plan for a international camaro Release like the mustang, so the 6 Gen camaro will be released in Latin America in 2017-18... I must say Im really disappointed, the 2015 mustang was released In colombia with a nice event, and a lower price 55.000 15`GT vs 65 "15"´SS (its really a 2013 old facia camaro)

so Ill have my Moded 4 gen here at the states and my mustang 50 anniversary in Colombia.

at least we know there will be not an Global release for the 6 gen camaro, saldy News because Colombia was one of the first countries (after Mexico and Canada) to sell the Camaro... damn shame

Camaro SS and HPE650 test drive by ben Collings in colombian release back in 2011 (I bet you never seen this)

Even if they reveal the Camaro in the next few months, it wont come out until end of the year. So in germany I dont think the 6th gen will be out until late 2016. Until then the choice between a car with modern technology and a car with older technology and cheap materials (I'm used to drive VW models) for the same price is kinda obvious. Since my lease is running out, I have to buy a car now. You don't always have the choice to wait over a year without losing a lot of money.

Maybe next time, in 4-5 years when the Mustang is paid and the 6th gen gets a facelift, I maybe will call a camaro my own.

PS: I love the look of the new Mustang, it looks very classy for a muscle car, so I wont regret my decision.

The moral of the story is to be patient. I chose the 350Z because in case you didn't know production on the 4th Gen was done. The future of the Camaro as well as GM was uncertain. But now the Camaro is stronger than ever, more reason to wait and be patient. I have over $70,000 worth of Camaros in my garage now. I would say I'm a fan..

Oh yeah.. Nice video!!

That makes sense. You NEED a car now and if you like the Mustang, then I say buy it. But if you choose the Mustang or Challenger because you can't wait on the 6 Gen and you don't NEED a car....Then you may regret it.

look, im not a expert........but one thing ive ALWAYS noticed about ford and general motors. general motors ALWAYS releases their competiting model of a ford vehicle a year or two after ford does. i guarantee they do this on purpose so as to be able to make changes to their latest model to compete. its this simple: general motors has a 2015 mustang in their lab going over it and gonna make sure that when they release THEIR latest camaro, it will have advantages over the mustang........

Yeah, because Ford has a Corvette equivalent.
