I would assume that there is barely any difference between the various cab/bed combinations.

Wait, what?

How can 19/26 and 20/27 both combine to 22 mpg? I was going to blame you for making a typo, but thats what it says in the GM press release. Very strange.

The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that its some sort of typo. Combined rating calculated from adding up 55% of the city mileage and 45% of the highway. Even if the '20/27' were rounded up from 19.5/26.5, itstill comes out to 22.65 ... which rounds to 23 mpg. So a rating of 20/27/22 is impossible as far as I know.

It's not a typo. All the estimates are like that now. It's like they assume that you'll drive in the city more.

Awesome, thank you, I don't know how I missed that press release, I have been a hound on this truck trying to scrape up info...but now I'm convinced that getting the v6 for a grand more is worth it since the MPGS are hardly a difference and the truck will be more capable and will still be a good DD for me

I'm waiting on the diesel still.

And hopefully the 8 speed.

Yes, I am planning on waiting till next year for the diesel and 8spd, but in case my DD doesn't make it that much longer, I won't feel bad picking up the V6

That tool box looks good on that truck and not at all out of place or awkward.
