Yeah, work on those lights and launches and you'll be flying! Really impressive driving and even more so with how much time you left at the line and the sway bar issue.

I don't know if you got an earful from random people, too, but people kept telling us how awful the Camaros and GT350s looked on course all weekend. Courses were not the cars' advantage, but I thought they were really fun to drive. I never felt like I got the return sections down. I kept letting myself get caught out before the cuts back towards the center. When I tried addressing that, I messed up from that point to the slaloms before the finishes.

Looking forward to looking at my video (tomorrow, I hope?) and comparing.

Anyone here doing the CAM Challenge in Peru? We're seriously considering...and if we go, it's almost certain that we'll take the Camaro to Nats instead of Oscar which we both have mixed feelings about.

HAh no one told me that, though i could see it. Our cars are large, and it was kinda tight.

I can imagine both classes being fun. BS looks insane this year. CSP is always crazy. Tough call.

I dont have any tire left for the camaro to do the cam challenge. I thought about it but i have one more local, bar should be fixed by then and ill have a small break before nats.

Had the same bmr bushing issue at the Packwood Pro. Caused me to miss out on the super challenge. Started clunking after the wife's Sunday morning runs. I had just installed the bar on the Friday of the event. Only made it 12 runs before blowing out.

My hotchkiss bushings and brackets are doing fine. They are gusseted and maybe a bit wider(?). Maybe get some of those if possible

Inquiring minds will want to know how that goes. My concern with any stronger alternatives is that if the bushing is wider then it may hit the limiting washers that are tack-welded onto the bar. Please keep us updated.

What is the diameter of that BMR bar?

It's 1.25" OD. BMR got an earful. Tech said that he was not at all surprised that the bushings blew out using the included strap mounts. Am going to try their machined aluminum mounts that support the bushings better. We'll see. I am not super optimistic at this point. They do offer delrin bushings as well, but I wasn't willing to give them another $300 at this point.

Here is the solution. Thicker bracket that wont cut into the bushing. Bushing is also stiffer than the red energy suspension one.

I hope to get it on next weekend!

This isn't a new issue, BMR knows those brackets and bushings are a problem and still sells this crap?

Sorry but BMR parts look like a high school metal shop project, I can make nicer stuff in my garage. No way I'd put BMR anything on my car.
