T8-T9 is a section critical for unlocking time. I can’t view your video, but it’s an area that i’ve had to work in improving and one almost everyone i’ve spoken to looking for time has issues. Another thing many people don’t look at is throttle-off/brake-on and brake-off/throttle-on timing, which adds up over a lap.

Nice work! How did you like the 305/325 setup over the 285/305? Noticeable? Also, did you stick with 20" wheels or drop to 19"?

Nice to see another NOLA video posted on here! Turn 8 (fast right hand sweeper just before the esses) became my favorite once I looked at the PDR data and realized I could enter it at 125mph in the SS 1LE with slight maintenance throttle! The turn scrubs some speed (must put right tires on the curb here when going this fast) then a second of hard straight line braking before turning left. It does make it easier to miss the next apex though. Note that if you have an instructor in the car they may not like this.

Definitely try adding a bit more speed through there each session if you go back. You can also drive on the painted curbs (may be slippery with dew in the mornings) and rumble strips to carry a bit more speed into/through corners but if you do I would rotate your front tires halfway through each day and stay off of the rumbles for most laps or they may help wear the outside edge of your front tires prematurely like I experienced and another guy I talked to with a SS 1LE had also experienced previously.

I might go to the upcoming NOLA open track day on 6/5 or the NASA event on 6/6-7. Looks like it will be the 2.72mi course with the Indy straight instead of the esses which I haven't tried before.

Note he drove a ZL1 1LE so 305/325 on 19 rims would be standard. But it looks like he swapped stock G3Rs with G3s (which now also come in zl1 1le stock sizes).

Explanation: @casualguy and I shared my stock ZL1 A10 at Nola back in MAR. My car, his time. His AMP time was in his own ZL1/1LE. Both cars on stock tire sizes.

First entry for BIR Competition Course! What a great track! First time there, and it's a great facility. Trans Am has raced there in the past and will be racing there in 2021 I believe.
