That's funny, because I am 6'5" 250 and have knees that are supposed to be replaced, but I hold out with cortisone. I have 60,000 and this is one of the few cars I never get knee pain in. Some of these cars really do fit the owner.

The lightning lap is a fairly well respected event. Half the hp and only .5 seconds behind.

Lol... Ya'all are hilarious, I've had them all, and in terms of stupid power and acceleration, the hellcat has it. If cars would be women, the Hellcat twins and Viper are like "Harley Quinn", and the Camaro/Corvette are like "Margot Robbie" on a day around town.

I think a lot of the excuses people come up with for the Dodge vehicle is the fact that it becomes intimidating even for "experienced" drivers because it requires a lot more getting use to than the Camaro and Corvette. In their direct comparison the Viper is a lot more to handle than the Corvette, and Challenger requires a lot more balls to handle than the Camaro.

I don't know why, but I can get my Challenger to give me the same track times as I got in my ZL1, it's just harder to do it and adds a pucker factor of 10 lol...

I don't buy it. The V6 will never get respect unless it's a TT with 600HP and trounces V8s by a large margin. To even mention it in the same sentence with a Hellcat is just ludicrous. Go buy a V6 1LE and roll in to the next Coffee n' Cars waving the article around and see how it goes LOL

Umm, it's a plain fact validated several times....the Hellcat can't out handle it's less powerful SRT and Scat Pack siblings. It's not about skill, it's about ineffective power increases. There is no magic skill that will make it better. And you can't get the same times on track in your Hellcat as the ZL1 because no one can. It simply cannot be done with any driver. Jumping out a plane with no parachute adds pucker factor too, doesn't mean anyone wants to though.

This is all relative to "track" not "strip" performance.

Replace C&C with any car club that suits your fancy. Nothing at all sexy about 300 hp V6s I don't care how you try to dress one up. If roles were reversed and Chevy had a 700HP Camaro and someone came in posting articles of a V6 Challenger being within .5 of some track time they'd be run off this forum on a rail. What's next turbo 4cyl times????

But GM has always been doing that, even with my 3 Gen 5 ZL1's they were ahead of the game with driving technology than FCA was and that was a car that had to be put on a cost restriction due to the uncertainty coming out of bankruptcy. Now the ZL1 in terms of interior and technology, literally wipes its ass with the hellcat.

Let it be known, this is the first time in the history of history I am agreeing with you, since you first started grinding my gears on Camaro5. Lol
