The rear deck kits come with the matte stripe and the orange stripes. The front matte is a separate part number.

I’ve been looking into that. Unfortunately the brake light in the taillight assembly is also the turn indicator. Except in Europe, where our reverse light resides is where they have the indicator. They have a reverse light down between the tail pipes.

I’m looking to pick up a Brand New 50th Anniversary Edition Turbo. Went and negotiated what I feel is a fantastic deal today. Just have to wait a few days to pick it up.

I currently drive a 2011 2SS/RS that I ordered new. After almost 8 years, and several issues recently, it’s time to let it go. Not in a position to buy a new 2SS right now, but after driving an SS, V6 and a Turbo today, the 50th Turbo is the one that fits the bill right now.

And it is such a great looking car! Can’t wait. And as I understand it, they only made 48 manual 50th Turbos!

I kept hearing a tick, tickedy, tick reverberating off buildings and such. I suspected an exhaust leak, but I was in denial. Kept telling myself that it was "header noise".

Today's drive was the straw that broke the camel's back.

I had to investigate a leak.

During the investigation after the engine cooled, I found soot where the pipe meets the flange! A leak!

I still had the new Cometic gaskets that the Kooks came with. So I pulled the old gasket. Replaced it with the new one. I haven't driven it far, just turned around in the drive way, but I didn't hear a tick. We shall see.

Can you see where the leak was?
