One thing for sure is the DP-12 is a BADASS looking shotgun!

Also, it eliminates the selector switch the KSG has....so there is no down time/manipulation to fire all the shells loaded.........

If you consider the unloaded weight is 9 pounds 12 ounces prior to all the tacti-cool crap thrown onto it. Your looking at a 13-15 pound shotgun fully loaded. I would rather lug around my SPAS.

Speaking of shotguns, my latest addition. An early FABARM FP6 imported by HK.

The selector switch had me concerned at first but I understand why they did it. It makes the KSG 50 state compliant. It's basically a 7+1 shotgun you can reload in an instant. I've gotten pretty good at using the switch as well. Only have to drop the barrel 20 degrees to actuate it.

So, I have about $1100 in my "play money" account and was going to buy a Corsa exhaust. The next "play money" (I put $200 a pay bi-weekly into an account separate from bills and spending cash) purchase was to be a .308 rifle like the M-14 or G3/FAL. Do you guys see battle/assault type rifle prices skyrocketing if Hildebeast gets in? Should I go rifle first then get the exhaust? We already have this guy, so would they really go up under her? Just curious what everyone thinks. Thanks.

Good question. I think your AR, Ak, tactical style guns will disappear as the stock now is really sparse. This is why I bought my Saiga-12 and will now have 2 after the spending spree. My next purchase before the Saiga 12 was going to be a springfield M1A scout. I believe this rifle will still be available if Hildebeast wins. I have looked into the Fal as these are direct comparisons guns.

Thanks. I also like the black M1A from Springfield.

Oh, and when the gun grabbers go one about "we aren't taking your guns", remember this:

No crime other than owner something that per our US Constitution is completely LEGAL. States ARE NOT COUNTRIES.

I have looked at these in person and do not see the appeal of this new style shotgun. I love high capacity semi or full auto's. Although I still would take my Mossburg 590a1 with speed feed stock for a pump. Holds a box of shells between the tube and stock. If I want to dump rounds fast use a S-12 with mag exchangeability. Even better yet the Fostech 12 looks to be very promising.

I like the look of the DP-12 and KSG just does not seem to fit into the useful side of things for me. Maybe because I am not thinking about it correctly? Anyone care to try to sell me on this design? lol In other terms tell me why it is more useful.

For me, a DP-12 would more of something got the range and to impress my friends. Although i give a 10 in the kickass factor, i would get a Mossberg 500 for home defense. I can't see me paying 1200bucs for a home defense weapon, when a shotgun costing less than half is more than sufficient.

I think my biggest attraction to the KSG and others with the same layout is the overall compact design and short length. I have a 590 and agree it is hard to beat as far as a pump gun go but the overall length makes it a bear to wield in close quarters. The KSG having the massive capacity is just icing on the cake.

Now if it would be available and dependable. I'd have one. Everytime I try to get one they are no where to be found unless I want to pay an extra few hundred for it.
