Chevy chat says my order has been accepted and my awesome salesman says the TPW is still 7/11.

I put a refundable downpayment on my 23 LT1 a couple weeks ago. They texted me this past week saying GM accepted the order. Should I be able to get that 6 digit order number from them at this point? I've purchased a few vehicles from them before and theyve always been straight up with me but this is my first time buying new.

The six character order number was available at the time they put the order in, before it was accepted. Ask for that then you can get updates from the Order Status thread or Chevy Chat.

Thanks man. I thought it would have been on my paperwork but it wasn't. Maybe because at the time they didn't have or had to apply for an allocation...not sure.

Where are the zl1 people at? Have any ZL1s gotten past 3000? I've actually contacted GM directly a couple times asking why my zl1 isn't moving (after I already lost out on the 22 I had initially ordered, but they keep giving me the run around, saying that all production is slowed and that no one is getting orders fulfilled yet. Even my dealer said #1 on his order list hasn't moved forward (I'm #7...UGH).

There are constraints on Shark Skin Met. paint. The ZlL1 is also on constraint for the next few weeks of July or longer.

I really wanted the Sharkskin Metallic but I was told Chevy is making a ridiculously low number of them. My dealer told me I could have any color I wanted as long as it was white or black. Lol!

Is that for sure? I'm willing to change colors if I have to, but not unless I HAVE to. This is for a regular zl1, non 1LE. I really just wanted the red belts, the CF hood insert, and the sharkskin...

Last i was told my zl1 was 3000 tpw 7/25

I had my 6 letter code at 1100, when the dealer put my order in the system... Call and ask them for it. It's not a big deal to give it to you; it helps you track it on your own. I have mine memorized and I'm old... lol

I think LeonardS is one of the few, if not only Zl1’s to move past 1100. If I remember correctly, his TPW is around 7/11, and he is a Zl1-1LE. I reordered my ZLE on 5/9/22 and I’m still at 1100. My 2021 order was canceled when the whole world shutdown, and my 3/16/22 order didn’t get accepted either. This whole process is ridiculous.
