Well you pointed out the problem with 8's ! If with me driving it, and I can get quick like that! I might just have to figure out how to run no quicker than a 9.0000

Too funny, I have the same issue… I need a driver mod haha! I don’t race often enough to get good at it. Plus I make changes every winter so it takes me a number of times out to get the car squared away.

Hopefully your track is friendly and will give you some leeway. Start with some 1/8 mile runs until you get comfortable with the cars new setup for sure. I highly recommend Smoothboost so you can dial the cars power down for some shakedown runs (or street use).

Update: The build is moving a long great! Looks like the engine and trans is going back in very soon! One thing that stands out, is those beautiful red BMR Motor Mounts! Gabe, thanks for making that suggestion! Alex, Katech's media guy let me know he has tons of pics of the build and he's putting together a time lapse video! That's great! A big thanks to Mike and Alex and everyone for making that happen!

If you have to tap a tank, that's how you should do it. Keep that baby 1/4 full or above just to be safe, though!

Why tap a tank? Isn't there other solutions fueling wise where you don't need to so you don't have to worry about things like that?

I could have replaced all the other fuel system upgrades I've done. Installed a Fore Innovations Triple Pump. But that's way labor intensive and the cost would probably be 3x the cost of tapping the tank and using the DSX Aux Fuel Pump ?

Fair enough, didn't know if you were going full revision of what you already had accomplished with your previous build or if you were going to "build" off of what you already had. Good idea!
