Correct!
I don't have a 350. As I just sold it.
I was about to trade it in for my MSRP R, but figured what the hell..... lets see what private sale brings!

They gave me $51 plus $2K more because it was a Mustang using the Mustang Conquest discount.

I still don't believe you are getting an new R for MSRP; probably a used beat up one for MSRP. I think you are full of what MF drives.

Update:

I noticed FleaBay has a lot GT350's that nobody wants.

My MSRP R comes Tuesday. I'm so stoked. I've gotten 1 night of solid sleep in the last 3 weeks. This needs to end all ready...
Cool story bro...

Oh shit...a GT350 owner...how's it feel to pay $55K for a Mustang that has less options and gets beaten by a 1SS 1LE??

Looky here, a Mustang owner calling out someone on car depreciation, lol!! 100% of GT350Rs depreciated by thousands of dollars because of the idiots who bought them at thousands of dollars over MSRP. LOL!!

Nope. Never have, don't want to, don't care to, no thanks. If I'm gonna spend over $70K for a Mustang, trust me pal, it had better do better than a 12.2 in the quarter.

P.S. Please reduce the pic size of your signature. I had a '81 Chevy Malibu....which is essentially what you have in your sig, and its garbage.
LOL, I do bench racing. And damn proud of it. And again, that POS GT350R is not even worth me looking at or driving. A bolt-on SS will destroy that thing in the quarter and probably on a circle track. And for the record, none of us need to actually race our ZL1s...it is still a faster car than anything Ford has.

Yea I would like to see some proof of this MSRP GT350R since you like running your mouth. Hey, if you actually are getting one at MSRP, then congrats to you for still overpaying for that garbage. The ZL1 will brake faster, accelerate faster, beat you in a straight line, beat you on a circle track, costs less, and comes standard with all creature comforts AND offers options that your little Ford can't even dream of having. LOL!! Bragging about your GT350R on this forum even if it was at MSRP is like dating a fat ugly chick and bragging about it to us who are dating super-models...you're only making yourself sound retarded.

LOL AND, even if you do get a GT350R at MSRP, your value is gonna tank because NOBODY is gonna want that crap IF the GT500 comes out. If it doesn't come out, then you still have an overpriced pile of garbage. So on one hand, get your GT350R, Ford doesn't make the GT500, and you're still on the level of a bolt-on SS. On the other hand, get your GT350R, Ford does bring out the GT500, and now you're stuck in it because ain't nobody gonna take it off your hands at a good price. So you're gonna take a hit on the re-sell or trade in even if you can find someone who will take it. Trust me, since it got it's ass kicked by the ZL1, and now the ZL1 1LE is out, and then if the GT500 outperforms the GT350R, you're gonna feel like you just made the dumbest purchase in car history. So if I were you pal, I really wouldn't be bragging and talking trash. You got a lose-lose situation on your hands.

At least I use mine and not a garage queen. If you want to pay $60,000 to just have a garage queen just to hold value, good for you. But you still lost money for a driveway ornament.

Here is a quote from Kurac the Hack from Mustang6g...

"I wouldn't DD an R. A HC or ZL1 would be a much more comfortable ride, IMHO. There are days I drive home from work and just need to relax in comfort and zone out. An R is not about zoning out, but demands full attention. Just my opinion, of course, and I drive an hour commute each way."

So Kurac the Hack, like you said, is going to park the R because he doesn't know how to drive it.

It's funny that he had $63000 into his car, sold it 15 months later for $54000 and he is bragging about resale. 2100 miles in 15 months with no track time in a track car just shows he bought it for status. Most of those miles were driving back from the dealer he bought it from as he said he needed to go through a few states to get it. I wonder how far he is traveling to get his R at MSRP so he can brag about that also. My guess this will sit also.

If you don't drive it, what's the point. Holding value on a car that you don't drive is still losing money. Drive it and it will deprecate.

Imagine the Voodoo ownership experience at 50k miles and out of warranty. The affect of high vibration on the engine, interior and auxiliary component.

If you want to own something like this as an un-driven garage ornament, wait 10 years. You will do much better.

Now that the numbers are out and clearly show the ZL1 able to outperform the 350r on regular roads, road courses and drag strip, it only makes sense the demand and out the door prices of 350r's will drop. Once Kurac posts his real deal here with personal information blocked out we will see if he lies or not. I'm looking forward to seeing him back up his MSPR claim with facts and the deal will provide those facts.

This is one of many things that is hard to understand about the GT350R. Suckers are paying over sticker for a car that as you have pointed out will get slaughtered in the market place once the next GT500 is available.

Yup! And all those people who paid all that money over the already more expensive GT350R MSRP probably feel like a bunch of fools.

No need to get this thread locked over an insult contest. They're both excellent cars that have a lot of similarities and many differences. If you are a numbers guy or a bang for your buck guy, the ZL1 makes a lot of sense. But sometimes numbers don't tell the whole story, and the driving experience transcends the numbers. That matters to some who aren't caught up in bragging rights or are out there competitively driving trying to win races. (in real life or in a magazine).

As far as purchase prices, ADM's and resale value goes, it's all relative. That extra 5 or 10 grand you may pay on the Shelby or save on the ZL1 will probably be a wash in the end. Just look at the values of late model Bosses, GT350's or GT500's vs 1LE's, Z28's or ZL1's and see what I mean. Pay now or pay later, unless you plan on keeping the car forever.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You really need a reality check. If you are talking about investment potential the ZL1 shouldn't even be in the discussion. There will be a 20% discount coming soon as they are not moving off the lots due to lack of demand. When this happens the used values drop like a rock just like they have for the past 3-years Chevy has had to offer the massive discounts.

Don't even offer discounts on the GT350R just sell it at MSRP and each and every one will sell very quickly. Offer up the ZL1 at MSRP and no one will even look at it. The market has already decided which car is worth the money and which isn't.

Need proof. What is a 2013 45k 1LE worth today maybe 28k at best. What is a 2013 45k Boss worth today 38k or more. Which car was the better investment.
