The remote control for the ZL1 exhaust controller could be used to remove another fuse instead of fuse 51. Surely there’s another fuse that could disable the car.

no need to reinvent the wheel here, just install a kill switch. Pulling a relay or a fuse is a PITA and your less likely to do it, and anyone watching you is likely to figure out what you are doing.

This is the obvious solution. I would say "don't leave it out", but I know that's not practical.
