Thanks for requesting knock retard. I'd really like to be able to set up an alert for that.

Above is what I hope to send to Banks (as time allows) for feedback for these gauges, and to try to get their Engineers to add more PIDs and alerts for our cars. Right now, I'm working on getting a Knock Retard PID and alert added. I know there was another request for Injector Pulse Width, too, but I'm trying to consolidate all requests and interests into this thread. Please feel free to post in there if you like.

Quick comment on the gauge itself:

I really like the way it appears they have made a quality product. I'm not an expert in anything, but I noticed they've used good heat shrink at connections in their harness. It's a tiny little detail, but I like seeing it, especially in wiring. That little attention to detail gives me confidence in the product as a whole. JMHO.

Somewhat unrelated, but related: I really like the ZZP pillar pod, too. The appearance is great. The fit seems as good as OEM. All the SRS and mic' flanges are great. I wish I knew about this before the pod I went with. EVERYTHING about the install and moving from the pod to the pillar was great.

I wish I would have known about this as well^^ would have gone that route before opting for the defroster vent option.

Yeah. I'm slightly irritated I put a hole in the defroster duct to run the harnesses for that pod, but whatever. It's done and I'll just patch that hole. That's what impatience gets me, lol.

I'll add that getting the dang SRS anchor off the OEM pillar was a PITA. Otherwise - it couldn't have been smoother, and fun to do the mod.

Excellent. The more noise we make, the more likely they'll do something about it. I see their last firmware was from September, so hopefully these will go on the next version.

I have not yet received a response from an email I sent at the beginning of this week.

I did get a response within 24 hours of submitting the request. Hopefully they follow up with a link for the firmware changes.
