@Memphis SS no need to repost those reviews, I personaly dont base everything on reviews and quite frankly dont care what they say, if i based all my purchases on reviews i wouldnt buy anything. My remarks in terms of folks overreacting is not too far from the truth, look at any thread related to the 19 and see for yourself some of the ridiculous remarks made.

Counterpoints:

-Competition got easier to attain: FCA has been offering aggressive financing, longer terms, cheap leases making Challengers more affordable than Camaro.
-Cars are down as a segment: yes Camaro sales tank, passenger cars as a segment and muscle cars as a sub segment have fallen off a cliff. So a declarative statement that “Camaro sales are down” is completely ignorant of market trends
-New ugly =\= improvement: even if the argument was Chevy needed to attract new buyers, simply redesigning for the sake of new at the expense of aesthetics is a poor business model. That’s evident by the immediate change. So that’s a horrible point that low sales are somehow indicative of design attractiveness.

Work better itemized?
The effects of market trends impacts all cars and Camaro sales are still down in their segment. The competition is better now but Camaro sales have been down in their segment since they first came out ,before the Mustang had a 10 speed. Looks sell , if it don't have the look it won't sell ,which explains the 6th gen.

Here's what I appreciate: after seeing the 2019 "refresh" I started visiting websites like ford.com and dodge.com...even audiusa.com.

Now that I've seen the 2020 Camaro SS front, I'm not doing that anymore. I now know what to replace my aging 2010 SS with: a 2020 SS.

Yes that is forgotten here, its not like the 19 all of a sudden tanked Camaro sales, that trend was already happening.

I went into the dealer looking for a 2018 because I liked the look better...I ended up leaving with a custom order for a 2019. Seeing them in person and test driving it really changed my mind. I didnt like pictures of it but seeing it in person really grew on me. Its not as cool a ZL1 or anything but im happy with it.

Another thing that is forgotten is that the year to year sales is up for the first time in a while in the first quarter of 2019, hopefully that trend will continue with the redo refresh, atleast it better .

Well, know matter what the topic Camaro owners are passionate about their cars and sometimes it brings out the best and worst in comments, that really rings true when it involves design. You just happen to buy the most controversial refresh.

IMO, the mid-cycle update was a misstep in the wrong direction. GM redesigned the front facia to be super aggressive. However, it really doesn't match the rest of the car which is rather understated in its basic design language. Then, they black out the middle bar to make it look it even larger. To make matters worse, they stick the bowtie in the bumper giving the front end the illusion of this big huge tall open cavernous space.

People like to compare it to the 4th gen F-body refresh for '98. However, that was a huge improvement over the door stop look of the original '93-'97 Camaro especially on SS models with the hood scoop and taller rear spoiler.

You could perhaps somewhat compare it to the '91-'92 mid cycle update they did on the final 3rd gens. Of course, Pontiac pulled it off a lot better (as they always seemed to do) than what Chevy did on the Z28. However, even that refresh did not go as extreme as to what GM tried to do on the '19 SS models.

I think the Camaro deserves better than a big open black hole for a front end in my opinion.

When I seen a 2019 SS in person... I was sold. Looks much better than a 2018 and looks way better than the 2020.

Me, I went and bought my 2019 after seeing the 2018's and 2019's side by side, in person. No comparison on which is more aggressive looking. After seeing the pics of " The Pacifier", the 2019 still is better looking.

Let's see how many of you guys posting, actually go and put your money where your mouth is, and purchase a 2020.

Car magazines are a dying breed and now are desperately trying to transition to digital along with just about every wannabe famous Internet personality with a YouTube account.
The term clickbait is something to consider from every YouTube/Instagram title.

Being a bit older now, the ****s I give about other people’s opinions on what I drive, wear, or do has dwindled to just about zero.

Also, words to live by. “When you argue with an idiot, you have two idiots arguing”
