Do the Mighty Mouse catch cans leave a mist of oil?

Looking at Wiseco custom pistons and rods just in case I want to push the envelope in the future. Then hopefully getting a 32% fuel lobe cam, injectors, and HPFP while she's open. I should know more tomorrow on details.

Yep, $$$$, that's what I'm afraid of. As mine sits, she runs great.

Right! But damn the way I drive I don't want to risk another failure. Just can't keep my foot out of her.

I figured the Whipple goes just north of 1000HP so the pistons need to be able to hold that too. My preference is to add parts just once but I'll probably have to compromise with the fuel system right now. I'm hoping more options will be out in the future. Then you have the other issue of adding a lot more power then breaking the supporting systems like shafts, clutch, etc.

Maybe a SC/NOS combo

As long as you don’t have sticky tires and don’t beat the clutch you should be okay. I’m close to 930 at the crank and the tires can’t handle it at all. Had a spark plug wire fry but that was because the shield was on the header simple fix. Will need to find green belt if you up the power as well. If you want rods and pistons look at CMS they have drop in ones will save you a lot of cash. If your looking at 850-900 to the tire just so pistons. But then you will need a new clutch probably a triple one. Drive shaft and half shafts. I was told if I drop 1 pulley size I’m good with lt4 fueling if I got 2 or more auxiliary fuel system needed. Lots to consider. The clutch to auxiliary fuel stuff will be 10k additional. Saving my pennies for the last phase. But gives you an idea what extra costs you will have if you move past 800whp

Doing the following. I'm sure I'm missing a few things.

LT4 Injectors and HPFP
HPS Blower camshaft kit
VVT delete kit
Katech billet timing cover
DOD delete kit LT4 head gaskets
Morel high rpm lifter upgrade
Wiseco pistons
Callies billet H beam rod 6.125"
Main and rod bearing set, coated
Master gasket set
Deck, bore, and hone with torque plate - Rotating assembly balancing
Upgrade to ARP head studs and ARP mains studs
Kateck CR5 timing chain
Upgrade clutch with flywheel.

I'm going with a lot. LOL.. Only thing I didn't pull the trigger on yet is meth. I will be doing meth at some point but keeping the beating that my wife is going to give me as less as I can. HAHA. Could always say, "just think of all of the tickets I won't be getting while they are working on it".

In all seriousness.. It should be a solid build with parts spec'd to hold up to 1400HP. I don't see myself hitting 1000HP anytime soon though.

Just been busy with work man. I agree, not a lot of reason to it other than a weak piston.

Your rods will be alright until you hit 900. Honestly street ability starts to suffer that far north on HP. Obviously they won’t hurt, I would just hate to see you add rods if you’ll never get thit full benefit. If you are looking at boring yours out, Texas speed has a full bottom nd 416 that’s pretty reasonably priced.

Sorry, didn’t see this before my last post. Do the cam phaser limiter while you’re at it and get ready to make a few pulls so you can trick your TM system.
