That’s What I think. But the dealer is still telling me the order is accepted.. but I got no digits numbers from GM Canada.

They are loosing my time by lying to me.

Be patient....it took months for me to get a build# even after the order was accepted. Now I check with GM online weekly for updates....but still frustrating....been a year since I ordered it.

Guys have your dealers shown you proof that they actually have allocations from GM? I would imagine that there would be some documentation on their end . There was a thread a while back Re TPW’s and there was some comment about 1100 status and that it could stay there indefinitely. I think the dealers are willing to take our money... make them work for it. They should be all over GM trying to get these cars!

When you guys say you don’t have news, is it the TPW? Or do you lack an order status like me?

GM Canada can’t even tell me an order #. So I guess the dealer don’t have an allocation.

I asked them and they just sent me the order paper that was placed in september/october.

Sorry for my english.

This is the response I received from GM Canada customer care ambassador yesterday.

"We can confirm, according to our internal order department, that your order
# V----0 has been received at the plant level, at this time we do not have an estimated build date as of yet. The order files are usually updated every 2 week."

I also have an email form the dealers district sales rep showing allocation under MY order to the dealer....just a waiting game....order accepted 250 days ago

The Canadian allocation was 50 ZL1's in 2017 and I have heard it is supposed to be 200 for 2018, including ZL1's and ZL1 1LE's.

Definitely hang in there. I did get a Canadian 2017 luckily but after getting it and the whole process I said that I'd probably not do it again.

I’m glad that your dealer has allocation.. 250 Days seems like forever .. keep the faith. I can only go by my personal experience, but my dealer notified me end of June that he had 2 cars allocated, then confirmed in July that my order was accepted, August I got a build date then I took delivery first week of September.. so all in all 75 days max. Out of curiosity is your dealer a high volume Camaro sales dealer? That could make a difference.
