Cost of higher miles
Drive it.... the difference in value on my 2012 which had 32,000 (fairly low for 6 years) and the same car with 50.000 miles was about 2 grand.... in my humble opinion those extra 18,000 miles would've been well worth it... , looking on average for every 1000 miles the cars value drops about $110, at least until you get closer to 100K.
There was no scientific study done here, just KBB values... as always your mileage my vary (pun intended) Until you get into the cars work 100K or more, miles are fairly insignificant on value of the car, especially if you can show proper maintenance. After learning this I intend to drive my 17 1LE a lot more then my 2012, Oh my 2017 1LE I bought 6 months ago and have 3200 miles on it.... |
