Part 1 NO Part 2 Yes Part 3 I have some severe problems with my legs and knees and the manual is just not getting it. It shifts smooth, clutch is soft but the constant repetition of shift and clutch holding I do mostly city driving and it is killing me. I have tried to make a trade with a couple of dealers who have A10's coming in but they want to steal my car I am trying to sell it locally I paid Sticker 2 weeks ago it has 159 miles so probably be hard to move I am willing to lose some money but not a substantial amount. The car itself is Awesome ride and handling is great. I am 70 years old so I made a mistake in not waiting for the A10.

Wow, it's a pity that you may have to give it up. That's the terrible thing about buying a new car, the amount of depreciation when it drives off the lot. Good luck to you...hopefully things will work out for you.

I have a few.............

1. I regret that its been raining in the bay area since I got my new ZL1
2. I regret that we had a mud slide on our road that cover the road in several inches of mud that kept me from driving my car.
3. I regret that we have Global Warming, oh wait that didn't work out, we now have "Climate Change" that is preventing my from driving my car. (please refer to item #1)
4. I regret that my new car only has 200 miles on it and I received it just before Christmas.
5. I regret the fact that I have to put another 1300 miles on the car before i can really drive my new car as intended.
5. I regret that if this weather does not clear up soon I may have to put fuel stabilizer in my new car

Well you get the idea. I have to say I am really beginning to get an idea of how you guys that live in the snow country feel.

Manual for me all the way, no regrets.

Just wondering if anyone may have changed their mind about owning the manual now that it appears that the auto is indeed turning out to be a world beater. I'm even more on the fence now because of the great deals I'm seeing on the manuals.

Did you see the MotorTrend article? I think the M6 held its own quite well so nope, no regrets what so ever. I mean, if you plan on driving over 180 on a regular basis, get the A10. I do not plan on going over 180 (much) and I really enjoy being part of the performance so I DID buy and WOULD buy the M6 over and over again regardless of what the A10 does. To me, the choice is not which one performs the best because you will rarely experience the difference in performance on a day to day basis. To me, it is what kind of driving experience do you want. Do you want the car shifting for you or do you want to be a part of the equation. Simple.

With all that said, I am thrilled with the performance the A10 is putting down and very happy for those that are getting one and wish them all the best as they enjoy the best Camaro ever made.

When I test drove an auto, I was impressed by the car. But, I found myself thinking, "Do I really want to drop $50k on a car that doesn't give me chills?"

Then, right after, I drove a manual. I got out with a stupid grin plastered on my face and told the salesperson, "Now THAT is what a sportscar is supposed to feel like!"
