It was 3 months. Even after they agreed to cancel the orders I still had to dispute the charges as the credits never appeared on my cc account as I checked daily. I'm not going to go into to much detail but there was a big gap between what I was told and what actually happened - normal people call this 'lying'. After awhile I just told them "I'm going to dispute the charges" and I did. I can only assume, based on that, they are having a cash-flow issue if they are willing to incur charge-back fees vs. actually refunding the orders they agreed to. IMO I seriously doubt that funds given to this company go directly to the products you are buying.

same thing i'm going through right now .. i ordered something from them.. after waiting a week no update i followed up .. was told it will ship in 2 days .. fast forward 5 weeks .. nothing happened .. i told them to cancel the order and now i'm being told it will take at least a week to refund my money ... SMFH ...

thank you so much Peter for posting this .. seems like a lot of people are having the same issues with them. ( including me ) .. i'm waiting for my refund. i will give them 3 more days till i file a dispute. i already called my credit card company and notified them.. takes 120 days for me to get my refund :( ..

When you file a dispute with your cc company they have to take that amount off your bill as they cannot collect on that amount during the dispute period. Wish I would have found this thread before I ordered my headers at the beginning of August. If they don't ship out this week I'm filing a dispute. I don't have time to fight with these people, I've already been lied to twice.

Just sent another e-mail asking for refund and cancellation. I'll be doing a dispute as well should no response be received by friday..
Done dealing with them.

I have not given up yet. Just passed 30 days. I have not been lied to at this point. I was told it will take a while with the discount given to allow them to group items together in group buys or one large shipment.
I waited silently for just shy of a month. I emailed last week and asked if we were waiting on a certain Item and if there was an expectation time frame I should know about? I received a response the next day that I should see movement this week. I inquired again today as a reminder the week is ending soon and I am looking for an expected arrival date now. If I get one by tomorrow I will be a happy camper and was told about the delay ahead of time. If not...I will make judgement then.

I have received the exact copy and paste email for the last two weeks. I informed Brandon F. I will honor my word in my previous email and give him till the end of the week to come through on his end. He has held over $1600 of my money for long enough. I will be taking action against them starting on Monday.

Okay. Update.
I had a good conversation with Brandon @ Marylandspeed. I was okay with the wait as 'I did read and agree to his disclaimer(he hid nothing from me), I received a discount worthy of a wait, I knew he was going to wait on a group order. I had emailed him last week and was told we should see some movement in a week. Then I emailed him again this week. About the same time I found this thread and It filled my head with a lot of worry that my product will never show up and I just blew my money. Being who I am started reacting and adding to this thread rather than waiting like I was. After talking to him I do feel more comfortable with my initial decision. I can understand what he is trying to do and I deal with similar situation's daily at my work. It is not an easy task to compete in the world we live in today. I am and have always been a sucker for a nice discount. I wasn't in a big hurry or I would have backed out after he told me there would be a delay in shipping. Where he and I differed initially was what a 'comfortable delay' was in my mind vs his mind. For me month(s) is not comfortable delay. (we are not at month(S) now but 1 month this week and stated to make me wonder if I made the right call) Weeks, I am and I was cool with, shoot I didn't even bother emailing him for three weeks and sent a calm email asking for an update initially... After another week past and then finding this thread, honesty I got a little worried and let my reactive side take over. As you can see in my post from yesterday I was still cool with receiving notice of shipment soon and I would be a happy camper in the end. I can see his side of trying to compete with huge retailers and pull in customers he would have never been able to pull without his disclaimer and discount. In the end of the conversation I was promised verbally that I will see shipment on some of my order next week and he will be working on another part very shortly. If there is a need for me to go back to that reactive person, believe me I will update you all. Till then I am back to my comfortable mindset that I agreed I was not in a rush (I did) and was rewarded with a discount for it. I am a man of my word and I really was more interested in the $$ off than the speedy shipment. That I never denied. I just let this thread change my thought process to a worry that my products may never show. Hopefully this post will be my last about this and my parts will be on the way in short order. =)
