9-22-15 at 9:50 pm I found this one. Not a truck load but is coming out of Lansing. Hopefully this gives me some credibility for my earlier post

I was in Detroit over the weekend and left Monday. Merging onto I94 I saw a yellow SS coming from opposite direction. Unfortunately it was just a quick view.

I agree. I think this is where the 6th Gen shines. The base models do look much better than the base model 5th Gens.

Strangely similar - yet different

If you look at the DRL on the Gen 6, it is quite similar to the 2015 Cadillac CTS Sport Sedan. Both are pushed to the far corners of the front and have vertical placements.

I am a life long fan of GM vehicles and have owned many, including my current Corvette Z06 and Gen 5 Camaro, but I wish sometimes they would not mix and match contours, characteristics and nuances between their vehicles.

Have a great day

I am glad they do this, makes each vehicle unique and different. This is one of many reasons I can't stand Audi and BMW, all that same corporate look, can't tell the difference between them unless you look at the badge in the back that says, A4, A5, etc.

Maybe you misunderstood the post - I am saying that the lights on the Gen 6 are almost the same as on the 2015 Cadillac Sport, which would make the 2 cars too similar, not unique and different, in that aspect.

GM, as do all car makers mix and match similar items on cars. I was stating that, I wish that if they are going to make a "new" generation of a car, that nothing in it even resembles any other car they manufacture, except the same previous generation of that model.

I agree that BMW and others do use "cookie cutter" styles.

Enjoy your new 2016 Camaro

The only similar thing that comes to my mind when I look at the LT models specially with the RS package,is the impala.the headlights and the chrome accents make it look soft an weak like the impala
