Just a couple of weeks ago I stood up to one and Im freaking 29. The guy was talking crap about a friend I just asked him what his problem was. The guy was maybe 5'11 and I was standing about 10 feet away. He started calling me a ***** and all this other crap just because I asked what his problem was. Well, as soon as I walked up to his face he really cowered down.

See, Im 6'6 but Im not a large guy. In fact, Im quite skinny but my attitude that I could easily kick his ass changed his mind. Had I slowly walked up and stood there with my shoulders forward he likely would of tried to take it further.

Attitude and posture changed the whole situation. He later came up and apologized for the way he acted earlier.

I've confronted a bully. threatened that we could fight, and he might win, but he won't be looking pretty for a few days. he left me alone from then on. no violence happened. at least not physical violence.

and for real this time. I think we've taken enough space for this thread. you don't need to kick a bullies ass to end it, in all cases. sometimes it's what needs to be done, I agree to that.

I support flighting and standing up for yourself. I have been in many fights in High School and didn't get in trouble once. I was telling PMC about the time a boy sitting behing me in English kept on sticking his hand down the back of my pants. I stood up flipped his desk around and threw it against the wall. I think I scared the shit out him. He went to the office, I did not.
