First was a 3 sp 289 1966 Mustang. I drove it for a year and a half then got my 1971 SS Camaro. I liked the split bumpers on the RS so I combed the junkyards till I found some. Then cut and fit some pieces from a junk grille into mine so I could fill that irritating hole in it.
Then paint, then 50 series rear tires on the Cragers, headers....

1997 Honda Civic EX Coupe .... wasted more money on it than the car was worth...

A 1986 ford bronco with a 5.0 302, a automatic tranny and 33 inch tires with 2 inch straight pipe exhaust with only cheapy glass packs. I love that thing more than anything, still have it. Was one of the loudest vehicles in the area

1974 I tuned 16 and got my license. Drove the family car, '68 Pontiac Bonneville or 1968 Chevy pickup. Then in 1976 the Bonneville got traded for a '76 Chrysler Newport.

I bagged groceries at the base commissary during high school saving for a car. A friend I worked with owned a '68 SS Camaro, yellow w/black rally stripes. I freak'n loved that car! Then August 31, 1976 the big day came and I got my first car!!! A 1968 Nova with a 6 cylinder! (Wish I knew then what I know now, I'd still have that car, minus the 6 cylinder.lol)

Many cars and trucks have come and gone since, but now I own the car I dreamed about (only this one is on steroids!!!!)

from freshman year to senior year I had a '72 mazda rx-2, '77 olds cutlass, '70 pontiac lemans coupe, '73 chevy vega, '77 chev luv p/u.

Dark green, 1969 Camaro, with 3 speed transmisison and 327 CID.
It cost me less than $2000 back then.
I got my license at age 14 in 1965.

Was lucky to have a 1995 Camaro V6 with 2k miles on it.......all 160 horses and 3.4 litres of power...ha! You guys are spoiled with your 300 hp V6s!

walked most days if dad was home sometimes he'd let me take his '65 impala this was back in the mid 60s,but that was a rarity..

First licensed in 1967. Drove my dad's '59 Chevy El Camino. 6-cylinder, 3 speed on the column. Occasionally the folks would let me take the '66 Buick LeSabre out. The first car I actually owned I got for free. It was a yellow '62 Mercury Comet wagon. 6-cylinder, 3 speed on the column. I got it in '71. Me and all my college friends called it the "Screaming Yellow Zonker"! Sorry, I don't have any pics.

Got my license and first car at 16 in 1973; Green 69 Camaro with 307 and turbo hydraulic trans. Traded it for a broken down Harley (groan) and then got another green 69 with 307 and three speed (sucked). Finally got a brand new 77 custom green with 305 and auto trans in Febuary of 78. Then marriage, kids, miniwagons, jeeps....
