Clearly you didn't read my post above that by targeting the parts plants they are putting the assembly plants in a bind. I am one of those assholes by the way. The UAW is playing virtual chess with the big 3 and slowly taking all their pawns. I don't know what the UAW is going to do next and neither does the big 3. All I can say is I've seen the company try to be proactive on a few accounts, and just completely fail and have to backtrack and im talking serious moves they made and failed on. Management in the plants is on our side because whenever we get raises they get bigger raises. I stopped at one of the stellantis picket lines today at one of their parts plants and talked to the workers. 250 hourly people work there and only 7 salary. When they got the word to strike they all left and management left with them because stellantis never gave them any directions on what to do in case there's a strike because they didn't think the uaw would ever strike the parts plants. 7 people trying to do the work of 250 is like trying to dig a pond with a shovel, it just doesn't make sense. GM submitted another proposal late Thursday night and another Friday afternoon after the parts plants struck. Don't be mad at the factory worker or the UAW, the company is making record profits while the dealerships are price gouging. Last year I had a hard time getting any dealers to take my employee pricing on a new truck that I was ordering, not taking off their lot.

Yeah, the big three are trying to figure how to survive this gov't forced transition to Electric Vehicles and Fain chooses now to do this

Definitely not looking good for many of us who have ordered a 24 model. Between GM not caring about the Camaro anymore and the UAW strike I'm pretty sure that I'm not going to get an allocation now.

Hopefully we both get lucky with allocations!

One thing that upsets me about my camaro is that I was invited to go up to Lansing and watch it get built, but nobody had any clue what day and when. The dealership has no updates and everybody I know in Lansing can't figure it out either and all I hear is " the guy who can get you that info is out with covid" meanwhile my friend ordered a new camaro and mustang and Fords been giving him text alerts the whole time.

Hi Leonard, I remember someone ordered a 23 ZL1 1LE last year based on GM production numbers. Did they give any indication that the 1LE was being limited in production? Did you get the chance to go to the factory and see the vehicle be built?

My 24 order is still active but I found a 23 and picked it up yesterday. Interesting to see how it plays out. Dealer says I'm at 3000 but not sure I believe it.
