Total of 18 stock s550's under 13 seconds. That's it 18 out of how many??? There are over 20 passes by the ss that are quicker than best mustang pass! Not even in the same realm.

My bottom 12s is in reference to tuned auto 15-17s. Pretty clear in my post.

Ok just DEEP 12s. Lol suuure. More guys are closer to 13 than deeep 12s

The only thing that's clear is that it's not as fast as you think.

Where's your deep 12 stock slip?

My car went 11.68 on the stock tune with a drag pack. Slips and vid have been posted

Why are you taking this so personal? Lol jeez. Lighten up. I simply stated that tune only current autos are going low 12s how is a car that's better suited for the drag strip running 1/2 slower?

EDIT: to be clear I never said the 15-17 GT was faster than the 6G camaro in stock form.

You came back and triple posted to reply to me. You looked a bit riled up first.

In regards to the new GT my opinion is that it will run about identical to the SS.

But as far as the current gt goes I'm sorry but I have not been impressed by what I've seen in person

You half-assed read my comment and jumped on it like a fat kid in a candy store without even understanding what I said. Only person that seems sandy is chadicus, that guy posts in nothing but "new mustang vs camaro" threads lmao. Thanks. I should have a ten second slip soon with a stock converter, stock suspension, pump E85 near full weight bolt on car. Made some changes to tuning, shorter tire and better weather coming. I go 11.1-2 in 1500-2500 DA currently. It's a hard platform to dial in. Tuning is tricky among other things. They run good stock and don't always take to changes properly.

Well if you tune your own car then you have unlimited time to dial in. Others like me just hope the file Im sent works ok. Im hoping to get my own 10sec slip by mid october in similar DA but a crappy 60ft.

I tweak things and have hptuners but I too work with a tuner over email. Do logs and wait for revision etc. have a laptop and wideband. I get dialed in pretty good but not as quick as if I was all on my own

Okay...

I owned 3 coyote mustang including a 3.55 auto s550 GT and the performance isn't even close to the gen 6 SS (straight line/handling). Even AED tuned/ bolt-ons GT wasn't as quick as my stock SS. Not necessarily talking drag racing (too many factors) but real world performance on the street. The S550 GT is a little slower than the S197 GT, stock.

I will give you that the mustang is currently better suited for tuning, drag racing and FI.
