Total waste of money . No one should order one and teach them a lesson for laughing at people.

I can't help but feel GM is giving us all the middle finger as a send off.

My next truck might be a Tundra if someone gets me to sell the camaro. To hell with GM, but this ZL1 is just one of the best cars on the road for what it costs. |

Baby boomers and Gen X , are in there late 50 to to 80s , there is no future for the Big 3 , to put millions into Design and Development to Production , of Muscle Cars . The 40 , 30 and 20 year olds are not Car guys , most are gamers . The era I grew up in 1960s , the culture was alive and thriving, we were outside playing football, Baseball , Basketball, and the Boys older than us were the Car guys they Crused, Raced and we learned from them . The Demographics are so different these days , the 40 and younger crowd grew up with the Video Games , that's there hobby , as Cars are mine . 1% of sales is not going to keep a Car alive , Cars are seen as only transportation by the 40 and under crowd .
No Demand no product. And then add the EPA.

Hi Fran , I'm sure you catch what I'm talking about. If you didn't grow up with Muscle Cars , I would say 40 years and younger, the majority are not Car guys, there is a minority of guys in that year range that are , by having there father or neighbor they picked the hobby up from . It was for me my Dad and and older guys in the neighborhood. If there's no one to pass it on to , then it's a Dead End.
Unfortunately that is one of the reasons and maybe the main one, Modern Muscle Cars as we know them ICE , are going away.

This is partially not true. Boomers were/are primarily into Muscle Cars. Gen X was a mix between Muscle Cars and the Import Car Craze that defined the 90s. Millennials are mostly into imports. I would revise your statement to 30yo and under. Gen Y and Gen Z are completely useless and will bring about Armageddon and the end of the world. |

Not enough interest to keep Performance Cars in production as the interested Generation demographics in numbers decrease.

Man you guys are a tough bunch on Chevrolet on this CE \ Panther thing! There is no business case really for anything other than paint and stickers for this car for Chevrolet; dealers may be a little more fortunate with markups. I'm also disappointed in this last offering vs. Dodge as well. From my buyer's perspective, I believe the CE model ZL1's will not be worth any more $$ than any other '24 Camaro down the road either. (reference the 25th anniversary pace car Vette prices or the first "last Camaro" special edition from 2002 - hideous!) With that said, I'm a Camaro guy since my first new Z28 in high school in 1980. I've got one from every generation now and the last two ZL1's are phenomenal performance vehicles for the price. Without buying one, I'll probably never actually see a '24 Camaro ZL1 Commerative Edition and I think the flat black paint with carbon fiber parts will be a killer. At $100K out of the door it's stupid $$ I know for this car, but I hope to get one and chock that poor decision up to my passion of the Camaro. I do regret not buying a new '15 Z28 for the $55K my local dealer had marked down on two new Z28's. I hope GM has a couple of non-disclosed features or included documents besides the watch but I'll post pictures and details if I get one. Now, back to work!!

'24 1LE (if you can get one) will likely be more collectible
