I just drifted/slid around in a '05 Mazda Tribute in some rocks. Got going, grabbed the hand brake, turned, pulled the brake harder, and hung the rear end out. That was fun! The '04 3rd row seat Envoy, was a little harder, but I got that big girl around to, just took a little more speed!

Get yourself a 3rd or 4th gen., gutt it, drop in a fully built lq4 6.0, beefed up tranny and diff., and drift it like you stole it. My .02.

Also, as said, there are no shared parts between the 5th gen and 6th. Except a few emblems. |

I wouldn't worry about it, nor would I call it a problem. Plenty (I would guess most) of 5th gen owners got it sideways at least once. Even if the airbags blew in 500 different cars (which definitely isn't the case), that's 500/500000, or 0.1%.

The Scandinavians don't need no stinkin' e-brake Credit where credit is due, it's popularly known as the Scandinavian flick. What he said in the vid at ~1 minute mark is very important.... do it on the street and you may get lucky, or you may bust a wheel/tire on a curb, but more likely you'll end up in a ditch hopefully upright, probably upside-down, wondering how much your insurance rates are about to go up. There's also the chance the cops will see the skid marks and give you a citation for their version of street racing, which will get you a big fine and non-payment by insurance. TL;DR Keep it on the track

If there was such problem with the Camaro, I am 99.9% sure GM has fixed it a long time ago... |

That was fun to watch. Good thing he had the e-brake to get it sliding.
