June or July? That's a bunch of crap. GM needs to get on the ball. Why even talk about the A10 and don't even release until almost 2018 production. WTF. There will be a lot of people buying other vehicles because of that. Heck they're already jumping ship and you can't even order a manual yet. I guess I'll be driving the KLR BU (Malibu) for longer than expected.

I seem to recall saying all of this a while back and some labeled me a complainer. I'm starting to think the world is full of three kinds of people. Pessimists, optimists and realists.

I'm just being real. I mentioned that issues with the A10 could create some less than positive PR. I was told, no it won't. People will wait and people will still buy it. That's true. However some of those people will also grow pissed in the meantime.

I don't believe the delayed launch is intentional. Nobody at GM said hey lets mess with our most loyal followers.

I do believe that they struggled with meeting the deadline to launch the car based on some unforeseen circumstances and so the area I think they messed up on was failing to communicate "WHY" all of this happened.

I'm the kind of person that believes that some explanation is required other than we said so. Americans are pretty forgiving but being held at bay doesn't make me feel good.

I have been saying for years that coke should release their recipe, inquiring minds want to know.

Does anyone care that it'll be a 50th anniversary? I'm sure hoping to get a '17. I'm sure it won't do much to the value, but I like the idea of the Fifty on the wheel.

I wouldn't plan on GM supplier discount till next year. It was only about$1000 on the Gen 5.

I'm not. The inquiry was around military discounts. The only thing you can count on is dealers taking advantage of the limited availability which drives pricing in the wrong direction.

Oh I have #1 here too and Tuesday I'll waive it goodbye to someone who was behind me wanting a M6... And to someone who didn't have the insight to jump to the dealer back in March and throw their money on the table.

Life isn't always fair ...

Yup... feeling your pain as I sold my current Camaro too soon. I already informed my dealer to let the M6 guys go ahead of me.

I still haven't decided yet. Got A10 down now but no ones behind me so I can switch to M6 in the next few days...one of those peeps who could live with either tranny option.

M6 pros...delivered 6-8 months earlier, without a doubt driving experience is better then an auto, proven more reliable, cheaper to replace, no AFM. More knowns then the A10.

A10 pros...First of its kind(except Ford F150's and raptors will have it before the zl1) it's faster by .1/.2 in the quarter, and on the track no one really knows? Less maintenance cost(no clutch, shifter linkage problems, less chance for human error) better mpg, remote start, easier to driver in traffic or bad weather.

I have never considered an auto to be less maintenance than a manual. Just my experience.
