My wheels are JWL and VIA certified.

They have just been delivered to PK for final finishing... will post pics when I get then...

Still looked for a good roll cages or harness bars if the cages available are not up to snuff yet

MY car is being built Feb 13.... prob delivered 4 weeks later.... everything is going in as soon as I can book the time.....

What size/offsets only weigh 21.5 lbs each? Can you verify when you receive them?

Thanks!

So, is the weight 21.5 lbs or "(weights for my sizes 22.6-23.0 lbs)", as you said in the original post?

According to Paul at PK Auto... 21 fronts and 22 rears... i pick them up Wednesday

EDIT: they've arrived

the scale shifted between 50.35 lb to 51.40 lbs

[IMG][/IMG]

Michelin PSS 285/35R19's weigh 29 lbs

so front with air , cellophan wrap and TPMS sensors... 21.5- 22.5 pounds... give or take considering the scale....

Wheels were black semi gloss with a ceramic coating... to match the aero.... and to bring it all together the matte black hood wrap will be replaced by a satin black hood and roof wrap... I'd thought about doing it a while ago but I will not be the first to have actually implemented it....

Seats will be ready for pickup next week from London... then just a matter of bidding a London pairing to go get them...

On a related note... the stock 1LE wheels are absolutely gorgeous in person... will be a shame to box and ship them out... but the name of the game for this project is weight savings first... I really wish someone would release 19" version of these wheels...

Even GM has gone back to 19" wheel on the ZL1 1LE for max weight savings... the wheels only have to be tall enough to clear the brakes... anything more is just for show...

New wheels and tires.... 32 lb weight savings
(Effectively closer to 64 lbs less equivalent mass /inertia)

New Kevlar race seats ... 82 lbs weight savings

Custom rear seat delete... 26 lbs weights savings

We are down from 3740 lbs... to 3600 lbs even!

(Effectively down to approximately 3570 lbs if accounting for unsprung inertia of the wheels/tires...)
