Anyone else having issues with spotting on the mat gray hood/trunk stripes? Mine are horrible. I have dozens on both ranging from the size of a quarter to a baseball. I have tried every trick known to man and even got tips on this forum but nothing worked. I'm considering having the gray stripes removed and maybe replacing it with paint. I might even go with orange instead. I've photo shopped my car and made the gray orange and it actually looked good. What do you guys think?

I think you should be a sport and let everybody else see your stripe creation!

Seriously though, I've gotten spots from the detail spray, but they always disappeared after it dried.

I'll find them and post ASAP. I've tried everything and the spots are still there after months. Some of them almost a year.

I had same idea to wrap the chrome trim around the shift and ordered sample when I ordered matching 50th stripe vinyl. The carbon fiber was a much brighter orange, think I'll try doing it in the same material as the exterior stripe. On my to do list.

I have them too, and it's pretty annoying, but only visible in direct light and it seems to only show when still wet, at least as far as I can tell. I cant figure out if its water spotting or from some product that got on them. Been using the Adams matte detailer and matte protectant, but no luck getting rid of them. The guy at Adams mentioned a more avgressive product to use (cant remember tbe name), but I dont want to create a bigger problem by screwing up the decal.

Swapped in the powerstop z26 pads over the weekend and gave the car a good wash after the brake in procedure. Looking forward to seeing what the wheels look like after a week or so of driving. Braking seems slightly different but not in a bad way. Maybe not as much initial bite, though they do seem much quieter which is nice.

Be kind, this was just a quick job for me to get an idea if I would even be interested in doing it. I gotta say I don't hate it.

the big one in the middle...... I am not sure. It seems a bit too much. Or the picture is too close.

Guys remember the color is not a perfect match and it is very loud due to the way it was done. If you look at the smaller stripes they are much more toned down. So the actual product would present much different than simply using MS Paint. That said I'm going to play around with it a bit and I'll post here for comments.
