Not me. I'll stick to picking from the lot.

So if they actually start building Wednesday (tomorrow) then it wouldn't show up until at least Thursday right? I may wait until then or even until Monday

That timer is counting down way too fast for how I feel.

On a related note, do you guys think it's easier waiting not knowing when your car will show up, or do you think it would be easier to wait if you somehow knew exactly when the car would arrive at the dealer?

For me it would be easier knowing when. One, due to scheduling issues for me. I have to make them 3 weeks out. Two, because then I could count the days down. I'm weird.

I'd rather know the date. I just want to know, whether its late June or late July, I just freaking want to know.

Like you, I had issues with a 2016 order. So knowing for me is better than not knowing. I don't like the guessing game after what I went through with a bad dealer experience. Otherwise it might be more fun. And the heat hit us hard so it is top-up weather here - which is kind of depressing.

But I bet it's a "dry heat".

All I can think of is the comedian John Pinette when you said that. Lol

Kaizer 911..........that video is hilarious........pretty much how I am dealing with the wait!
Now it looks like the end of the week for us 6/6'ers. Wonder if some of us will now move into next week since Monday and Tuesday were still 16's?

Glad I'm not the only one lol.

And the thought crossed my mind on falling into next week. Hoping not. But I've seen it before from looking at other TPW threads. But usually they get out pretty quickly.

All I care about is getting to 4000, then seeing once we leave the factory. I can handle a couple of extra days in production. The unknown for all of us is how long will we be in QC.

Exactly. The QC hold is my biggest concern as well.

I had a pretty awful dealership experience as well. Mine almost made it into the local news, no joke.

I'm with the rest of you guys. It might hurt a bit more to count down a specific number of days if we knew when it would get here, but I would still rather know. The certainty I would get from that would outweigh the torture of the countdown for me.

All that to say I do not know the answer.

As to the body in white, the timing I am used to seeing, whether for the Sonic or the Corvette or any Chevrolet car in between, is from when the body and components enter paint to roll off. Also, about 12 hours from the marriage of the body to roll off, which includes the 4 to 4.5 hours from beginning Final Trim to roll off.

Gotcha. Thanks for the info, as always!

Apologies for the triple post.

I just saw that there are other "TPW Club" threads where they got their cars after only 16 pages.

Now, I realize that page number count is not an indication of amount of time passed, and that we just rock because we are awesome and all get along so well and love to chat and joke around...

But still.
