insulated and reflective, blocking heat and retaining coolness of the intake air.
It'll make a difference, just like wrapping that stuff around your entire intake would make a difference to the IAT. The only question is if it'll be significant enough to warrant the potential eyesore and/or extra work. You can also wrap your exhaust and reduce heat loss there to retain exhaust gas velocity better...but you get similar trade-offs in addition to potentially oxidizing the metals more. It's a bit more complicated than just looking at a dyno or quarter mile time too, since part throttle behavior will be impacted as well, which will likely be what is most noticeable if anything. On another note... Today i dropped a good thousand bucks on rubber. Pilot AS/3+. The stock runflats are such garbage tires. 23k miles. No tracking. No burnouts. My rear tires are slicks ..literally no tread at all on 80% of the surface (only the edges have any visible tread patterns) and there is visible steel exposed on parts. Fronts aren't much better and are below the minimum tread. The only reason why someone would want tires that perform like the stock runflats do is if they hate money and love taking their car to service centers. My girl's ralliart just got some pilot AS/3+'s installed and I can't wait to get them installed on mine in a couple days. |

Like stated above, it keeps the air temperature lower giving you a few extra hp. Materials were only $59, so if its anywere from a 5-10hp increase its worth it for me. I have done it before and its always work. You wont see the material since its the bottom of the manifold.

Hit a concrete "step" on the end of a parking spot while parking in pitch black darkness and cracked my front bumper

Unfortunately nothing... My 2SS Vert A8 has been in the shop since the end of December except for 2 weeks... My only option is the Lemon Law at this time.
I've never had more problems with a vehicle in over 30 years and while I was looking forward to the new Corvette... GM can take my Camaro and Shove it!! My 4th Gen F-Body 2002 Firehawk Transam with t-tops had 0 issues. What gives?? As of today... Based on dealership documentation, I'm pushing 170 days in service since 12/15/2016. I need 30 days in service to qualify for the Lemon Law in WA state. I've wanted to keep this Car. Design and reliability issues persist and can't be corrected. It's not the dealership, it's the designers and pencil pushers in Detroit that are behind this mess. Yes.. mess. 5 sets of brakes in 36k miles is a freaking mess. 7 attempts to fix the convertible top, neck-breaking shifting from 1-2 with the the A8, A8 shudder,, etc... While I hoped the NEW GM, after the bankruptcy in 2008 was better. There is a reason Chevy is in 3rd place or 2 door sports coupes. I'm tried of driving a Chevy Equinox / Cruz while I make payments on a vehicle sitting in the shop. |

Replaced all my brake pads with Z26 pads, the brake dust was killing me. Hopefully this will help.

Applied Adams Ceramic Spray Coating today. Installed GM smoked 3rd brakelight to match the stock smoked tail lights.
Also swapped out the stock RS badge for custom ordered badge for River City Creations.

Yes, the difference is incredible. I drove 50 miles, any in traffic the next day and had less dust than a few miles with the stock pads.
