Girly you need to be running slicks with the stick car. I think your car will react better then with the drag radial. It will be much easier on the drive train also. I know you've upgraded the drive train and that will help for sure with all your hp and torque.

Yup. for sure. but 10.9 and 134... I would guess that those DRs are spinning.

I run the 28x10 hoosier slicks and that what I'll also run supercharged also. They will grow on the big end where a drag radial won't. I think that's one reason why my MPH NA on a few of my runs were the highest in class for my mods. I had one pass of 121.32, my only mod was CAI and drag pack (skinnies and slicks). I could hold mine in 4th where all the guys with drag radial would be hitting the limiter at 1100 feet or so. I may have to go to a wider slick if these don't hold my power when I'm done, but I think they will. I should be making about 600 rwhp when I head to the track in March. Expecting 10.80s or lower.

No they aren't spinning at all. Stock coverter has us leaving at 2k rpm but peak trq is 4k. Basically we have about 1000rpm before boost then it sits back and goes.

We think we can get the converter to let us launch at 2800rpm or so by messing with the pressure at launch. We'll try and find out. Also gonna up the boost a little this time so long as afs stay good. Think we might get close to 140mph this outing.

Mainly we're getting data logs of the trans for circle d to build us the new converter. We're probably gonna end up with a 3500-4000 rpm stall converter and a ligenfelter box for pulling timing to get boost up on the line

Wouldn't 140 put you in the 9s?
I've been having a hellofa time launching mine. Best MPH has been 133 @10.8 with a 1.7 60. Hold 5000 RPM. Launch. Bog. Go.
Same day, 129 @10.8 with a 1.5 60. Only difference was the second pass I left at 3500 and no bog. I would of expected a 10.5-10.4 with the 133.x MPH... if it had left right.

I'd like to know how this can be accomplished, I'm assuming something in the tune can be tweaked to make it happen?

IOnly 1 hit tonight but was better than last time.

No changes in boost or anything, was just a cold night out (52*F on the track)

Got a gopro cam vid I'll post up when I get a chance

Car had 3/4 tank of 93 octane in it and has just driven 60miles to get to the track. Was very first hit one and done. Got our datalogs for Circle D to make the converter and packed it up and went home.

Weight with driver was 3995lbs

Track was Royal Purple Raceway Baytown Tx date 1/27/2017 and time we made the hit was 9:26pm

I need to see the whole time slip with track and date. Please delete that pic from the post and upload a new pic of the whole time slip. Please don't add a whole new post.

Nice Pass Goertz!

Can't wait for this spring when all the tracks open back up to see what times all the SC & Turbo cars are making.
