3 Guys, a bull and a tomboy... I really have no vitriol towards any of you. Blaq Bung Whole being the exception. He (assuming Blaq Bung Whole is not a bull) kinda spews it out.

Yes, GM was and is behind still. For some reason they don’t market the Camaro very well at all. It doesn’t sell well for a lot of reasons, but I do see plenty of women driving them. I’d be surprised if there is a 7th gen though. |

It’s funny how riled up you guys get by him. Does he kid around and say stuff to piss off the ‘Stang crowd, of course. But, he is in nowhere near as bad as the numerous assholes that populate M6G nor rise to the level of fanboyism they have there. Just an observation from being a part of that forum for a long time and this one for a few months. Part of that is there isn’t a lot of regular contributors here compared to there it seems.

Yah my wife really enjoys the Camaro as well. But, she has ridden in my lowered BMWs for quite awhile and those didn’t ride much better than my ZLE so she is used to it. She says the Camaro Recaro’s are the most comfy seats she’s ever ridden in. Even more so than her fancy M550 seats.

I sincerely hope the Camaro sticks around but it's going to need some reformation.

But what a send off for cars like these. The choices from US to imports is amazing. Unfortunately I’ve gotten picky and only find a few of them truly interesting to drive. If they don’t make a manual C8, which looks like they are not going to do, I’m going to be seriously bummed. I’d like one rear/mid engined manual car in my garage before everything is hybrid electric etc. A Grand Sport manual N/A C8 would be awesome, but it looks like I’ll have to look at Porsche to scratch that itch. |

I did test drive a ZL1 back in the day when I bought my GT500. It wasn't the car for me at the time. Today tho, the ZL1 has improved on much of my early criticisms and discomforts from the 14-15 model year.

I will give Ford (and GM) credit for their mag ride systems. They are amazing for both lighter track duty and very civilized street manners. Almost too much so IMO. My GT350 rode very nice on the streets even with the suspension mods. |

But, I’m probably going to eventually tear out the interior of my ZLE and cage it. So I guess I might look at a DCT/auto GT500 or C8 in the future. If I have my choice I’d like to stay manual. If by some miracle a C8 version gets a manual I’m going that way. If it stays auto I lean more GT500 in couple of years if they don’t have GT350 level of issues. Or Porsche is the outlier if I really want mid-rear engine. |
