In stock form I wouldn’t count on it. From what I’ve read the LT1 has the RS tire package which means 245s in the back. Also I don’t think GM going to put the Track lunch control on a base model LT1 and make it faster than the SS

I don't know man looks just like the 2019 with the emblem moved up. Still has that plasticky look and the hood ventilation looks cheesy. It's almost like a poor attempt to correct their mistake without really admitting they made one to begin with.

Well, I think you missed the part about it’s only coming with 245s on the rear, as I stated above this is in stock form. Your commit “anyone that can drive” like your going to just drop the hammer and get faster ETs.. it’s not your V6 there bud.

The 4.0 is achieved via launch control, so I'm just assuming that the LT1 doesn't have launch control.
Also, the 2019 Camaro SS A10 (With Track Mode, and Launch Control enabled) peaks in 0 - 60 MPH in 3.9 seconds as well. At its best, the LT1 Camaro will achieve at least 4.1 seconds with A10. |

They also come with 245 tires I believe and if you can launch them, the lower resistance tires will result in lower ETs at higher mph. |

I think the reason Chevy came out with the LT1 was to provide an entry-level V8 to customers at a lower price than the SS. If you look at the pictures From Camarofest you will notice ground effects and different rear wings on the LT1s. I think they plan to introduce some appearance packages, we will have to wait and see. If you start adding packages to the LT1 like the 1LE your right back at a SS level. Really the SS, SS 1LE are the performance packages. As for the tires, good luck with that one. Could you please provide some info on that one because even dodge was smart enough to know that to get lower ETs on the Challenger they put wider tires on the Demon and the Red Eye editions. My point was the 275s will result in better traction on the SS vs 245s on the LT1 and provide better ETs. I own a SS, trust me with 275s your still looking for more rubber on the road when you put your foot into it.

Every one saw the exact same ugly creation of the blacked out front center section and the bow tie in the very wrong place. The fix was simple and perfect. |

@ 455 ft/lbs, if you didn't have some guy in Detroit helping you drive (traction control and torque management) you'd blow off the 245's, and probably the 275's, way more than you think. |

I don't know about you, but I think the car looked great in black tires. It's just the white tires that make it uglier.
