Wow. Are the Hot Wheels stripes applied at the dealer? I know the H50 cars are applied at the factory.

I am sorta near you, 9 miles south of Gettysburg. There is a GM vinyl guy that travels the rt. 30 area. He did my 2015 Camaro stripes. He does very good work. A GM dealership in your area probably subs work out to him. Good Luck. They will get it correct for you.

Yes the vinyl for the hot wheels is an RPO item unlike on our cars (H50 50th Anniversary Edition). Why? I don’t know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey all ya'll
New here from the Hagerstown MD, well south of that, area. Picked up my '18 Hotwheels a couple weeks back. Built in April '18 but I don't know the build number, or even where to find that. The wife, who's not really an automotive person looked at it on the web and said... that is badass. That's all I needed to hear to give up the 2011 Silverado. First car I have owned since 1979. Been all trucks before this one. Drove it home in a snowstorm, that was a hoot, but not as bad as my '85 stepside with about the same power would have been. I've seen some places on the web that a commemorative box, with a Hot Wheels in it, had been given to some folk. Does anybody have any information on those? First mods will be lighting. Who decided that we can't have amber parking lamps in the front like we did in the 70's and 80's. White DRLs, while nice do not do this car justice, they need to be amber. |

Your Hot Wheels commemorative box will be sent to you in a month or two. It will have your production #. Look through some of the older posts for many pictures and very good information. I am only located about 20 minutes from you so you might just see another orange crush in the area. I saw one in Hanover PA. about 3 weeks ago. Welcome!

I've ridden through there a few times on the bicycle. I suspect that the HW won't be driven much. We have a 2006 Daytona that has only 20K miles on it. My 85 is the daily driver for me. |

On Saturday we finally cut a deal on our new 2018 2SS Hot Wheels conv, 1 of 241 automatics produced. It's a late build of 6/18. Used $3100 GM Card earnings + $2500 incentives + $4225 dealer demo/discounts for a total of $9825 off the MSRP of $58,225. Given the limited incentives for this month I'm very pleased with this hard fought negotiation. This car had a few demo miles as it was used as a promo car at the Pocono racetrack, but warranty began upon purchase. I also traded in my trusty 2014 Chevy Volt with 45k miles for $10K.
We've now used a grand total of $29,819.84 GM Card earnings toward 13 new GM cars since 2002. If you ever intend to buy a GM car, it's worthwhile to carry the GM Card.
