I've been a Mustang guy for years. I've been on quite a few Mustang forums... those guys (the big voices over there) on Mustang6G are straight up overly abrasive, delusional and condescending. To the point where I cannot consider them car enthusiasts. I hate to say that because there are some VERY cool Mustang guys.

That 1SS sounds perfect. Fortunately (or unfortunately!) none of the local dealerships keep 1SS cars on the lot. They're all gorgeous and loaded 2SS models that are priced outside of my reach.

We have a handful of previous 5.0 owners here as well and won't look back.. one thing we can all agree on is the smile we had on the test drive! Car's a def. beast and I'm glad you were able to test drive it.

I like fast cars from factory since I don't like messing with warranty claims, etc. 5.0 is plenty fast from factory as well especially for the street.

As far as people ignoring you, that's retarded unless you're talking smack about the 5.0 lol. I love good car talk regardless! Don't sweat it, go to the darkside, get yourself a 6th Gen SS and you'll be smiling everyday for real.

As far as 1SS with NPP, Magride, etc.. Dealers SHOULD have more these than loaded 2SS's. The loaded 2SS is what's killing the sales and not many folks can afford/or will spend on a 45-47k car.

Yeah, it's funny because people are like that. I am no brand loyalist to any one brand. I had Chevy's all my life, including 2 brand new Camaros. Awesome cars. I currently have a '13 Roush Stage in my sig and a daily driver, which is a '16 Ram Sport 4X4 regular cab. I may entertain looking at a ZL1 someday.

Yes, the dealer closest to me only had loaded 2SS cars on the lot. There is not only the higher base price of the 2SS model to contend with, but then they pad the bill even more with extra options. I traveled a little bit to get a 1SS.

Except there was an actual same day comparison...by MT. Personally I don't put much credence in C&D's measured numbers for anything.

Anyone that listens to anything he posts is either a newb and just doesn't know the guy, or is a complete delusional just like he is. He stated a few days ago that the 1LE is inferior to the 350 (and no, was not talking the R) in every way.

My God I pray someone tests the 1LE versus the regular GT350. Its painfully obvious to everyone that the 1LE will VERY nearly equal it, or just simply outclass it in every performance measure. All while having less HP, and costing 10 grand less.

I'd love to see him explain that one. Sadly, we already know what he will say, and the lies and misinformation that will spew forth from his posts. That guy is mental.
