Same with me, I have a full year left on the original bumper to bumper and added another 4 years of the platinum extended warranty. I really think its limited issue. Most people join the forum after they have a issue, there are tons of owners with zero issues. At least I hope so.

Originally when i bought the car 3 years ago i had thought the same about leaving it stock, but now i figure unless there is an unforeseen event, i will keep the car for at least a decade so why not make it how i want. With 14k miles on it, it still looks like it is brand new.

If it's truly a design flaw it's probably a ticking time bomb. Most of these cars are still low miles (<30-40k). Hopefully 2019+ in the clear

5/18 build date with 5500 miles. Hopefully, mine doesn't have the bad pump

Im 6/18 with 3700 miles hoping the same. I think 2019 production builds started 8/18.

I think we should be ok. Most failures occurred in cars that were produced in 2017. I think there was only one with a build date from 4/18, which would mean that there’s a very slim chance that we would have a failure

Interesting. However, it says it may (will?) require tuning, so for stock cars, this might not be a good solution.

Thanks for posting.

It requires no tuning if you use a car pump in a car. If you try to use a truck pump in a car it will require tuning as the truck pump is higher pressure.

I've edited the wording on the website. Hope this clears it up.

Nice! Glad there's an option out there now.

Nice! Just in time for my winter project...
Can you give us some more details about the pump.
I'm assuming that the weak points of the failing stock pumps have been changed. Do whe know which internal parts were the problem?
Any other benefits using your pump over the newest one from GM?
Are some of your pre production units already running, and tested for a while?

The powdered metal rotor housing is what breaks as shown in multiple posts in this thread. The size of the housing is reduced near the locating pin which is the failure point on every single pump. We have eliminated that piece and replaced it with a 4140 billet steel piece along with other internal updates.

The newest GM pump is not a fix. The rotor housing is still powdered metal and is easily broken with minimal force.

We've been developing this pump for months and have beat the heck out of it on the dyno with countless hours of track simulation without a failure. We have pumps going into cars in house as we speak.
