To KC Ron (dont mean to highjack this thread but maybe this info can be useful to someone else)...

I thought i finalized the paperwork in order to take advantage of the gm employee discount but the dealer never submitted my check. They did tell me, however, that i would still get the discount even if the car was delivered later since they would report the car "as sold". As far as i can tell it just left Michigan yesterday but maybe thats where the 6000 status is coming from. Fyi, you can search your cars VIN and freight# to see what else is on the truck and where its going on Jack Cooper Transport's site.

Do you know what's currently on hold, Joe?

The factory picked my order up within a couple days, but I only have a couple of options. I know the sales manager who entered it told me he made sure none of them were on hold as part of the process.

The system then closes the order...

I didn't order many options, only red seat belts, manual transmission, and the nicer shifter knob.
