I didn't weigh the stock setup when I swapped mine out but I can definitely say the Borla stuff was lighter.

Do you feel like the mid pipes altered the sound? If so, how?

Yes, definitely! It now has a deeper tone (But still has absolutely ZERO DRONE) and it is a louder than just having the axle back. Not super loud, but significant enough to notice a difference between the two. You can tell things have "opened up" back there.

These systems have dual tips and will fit vehicles equipped with Dual Mode Exhaust (NPP), but they do not include Dual Mode valves; they delete the valves.

Sorry if you answered this but are there plans for a model with NPP valves? I like the carbon tips, I just don't care for the interior being silver. I think it needs to be black. I think titanium tips would be awesome too.

I too like the carbon fiber tips, will these be released soon? Im looking into getting the Atak Npp #11925 and maybe adding #60606 (xpipe with mid pipes) and those tips would look awesome.

Not sure who's camaro this is but I felt like it was a great video on the before and after with the borla atak system. I love it. Found this on youtube. Just ordered mine last night, cant wait for it to get here. I will eventually order #60606 down the road.
