I am glad I purchase Roto-fab too don't feel any regret but the thing I dont understand is that CAI and ADM has the same design I think someone sad that ADM had a bend in the pipe that could have made the differents in the performance also the windshield bottle is not there could give you alot more air too.

I just watched the install video on fastlane's site... Whats up with the "reprogramming of the computer"...Shipping it off? Is required? Is this what you have to do for all the CAI?

$469 for fastlane is pretty Salty compared to the others that are 3-4 HP lower on the test.

Not sure I am prepared to pay $469 for a couple of Horses, and according to there install instructions- a tune is needed.

Just my thoughts.

I'm thinking I'm going with rotofab. Does this make sense? I think it does... No tuning... 100 dollars less than fastlane... Yes? No? I think yes

Remember guys you "will" pick up some more power with a tune on any of these intakes....some more than others. Also, despite the effort by any tuner, you can't replicate driving on a dyno...some of these intakes (New Era, Fastlane, ADM [race version]) are going to perform substantially better on the street, especially the faster you are going....those things won't show up on a dyno.

To clearify a few things:
Intake has always been priced at $469. No change. Although we have a group buy in mind. Secondly, a tune is not required. There is simple more to be had with a tune. We simply provide it as an option. Let me know if you have any more questions.

Keep in mind that the Fastlane CAI will see added benefits from the ram-air when you are out driving around on the street. At under $500, it is well worth the money!

stupid question, but the rubber line running to the intake piping before the throttle body; is that some sort of EGR?

This is good to know! Is a group buy underway already or just in the planning stages?
