Thankfully I don't need to ask for a status for mine anymore but I appreciate everything DC has done for myself and others here. A huge, huge thank you goes out to you.

Long story short, but I received a call from a dealership last week that had received an allocation for a V6 coupe that I was looking for and they remembered me from when I had reached out a couple of months ago when I was looking to place my 2nd order.

I credit these forums and the users that gave me the advice to check other dealerships as my original order from September was stuck in limbo. I was honestly fine with waiting as long as it took, but once I found out an order isn't really a guarantee that it would be built, I started to panic. As of this week, my order was accepted by GM and it's moving along the production process.

The help by everyone here is greatly appreciated so thank you all again.

If you have a good salesman you can text him daily and he'll tell you exactly what DC has been giving us. I just got an update on mine today with an early June ETA. Thanks DC for helping me earlier on in the process!

FWIW saw this The 2023 Chevy Camaro ZL1 1LE Is Under Constraint

It’s unclear if these options will become available to order again before the end of the 2023 model year, or at all.

To be clear, it’s the following (below) options the writer is referring to that may not be available to order on the 2023 model year, or at all — not necessarily the ZL1 1LE itself:

“Last last month, GM Authority reported that several 2023 Chevy Camaro options and packages are now unavailable to order, including options spanning both the interior and exterior of the sports car, such as Design Package 2, Design Package 3, the Ground Effects Package, the Carbon Flash Metallic front splitter, and more. It’s unclear if these options will become available to order again before the end of the 2023 model year, or at all.”

Did you read this part of the story? Rear spoiler issue on the ZLE.

According to GM Authority sources, units of the 2023 Chevy Camaro ZL1 equipped with the 1LE Extreme Track Performance Package (RPO code A1Z) are currently under constraint due to a supplier issue related to the exposed weave carbon fiber rear spoiler (RPO code T42), which is in short supply at the moment.

I suppose I was simply trying to clarify the difference between it being on constraint vs the implication that the ZL1 1LE as a whole may no longer be available to order.

I love this. Stories like yours are what inspired me to do something similar - have had a ZLE ordered since January of 2022 still at 1100 status, with no dealer allocation (despite the dealer claiming they are one of the highest volume Camaro and Corvette dealerships in California).

Decided to email/call around and it so happens that a dealership in Arizona has an allocation coming to them in September that was yet to be spoken for. So I snagged it. So, theoretically, if I don’t get a call from my original dealer by September informing me that my order has been picked up, then I should be able to lock it in with the second dealership out-of-state.

Makes me wish I had done this sooner.

I looked for and thru GM constraints on the CF ZL1-1LE wing when the GMA put it out. Last week and as of today I seen no constraints as of 1540 EST.

I have a question. I had a TPW of 5/22. Today the salesman called me and sent me the vin number. Does that mean the car is built?
