Are you mistaking me for someone else AGAIN? I had two GT350s and got plenty of practice putting oil in those pieces of shit. Are you still trolling a section bragging up a car you’ll never have?

I didn’t want one then. When I hurt your feeling in the GT350 section. I told you to quit crying and figure out how to put oil in your car. And you seam to have never got over it. I don’t want a GT350 now. But why don’t you go ahead and tell me what I can and can’t afford. Maybe you’re as internet rich as blaq. That’s why your so quick to go to bat for him. Birds of a feather kinda thing.

Mine were and many many others also, especially the first one. Both Voodoos drank oil and the first one was replaced for it under 3k miles IIRC. The second one made it to 10k before it was going to need a replacement as well for the same reason. That plus eating drivers side rear half shafts and other vibration issue related stuff around the car. Weird clutch/transmission behavior and on and on. I traded my 17 and moved on. Do some digging on M6G and you’ll find a 100 plus page thread strictly related to engine replacements. I’ve never seen so many regular members of any forum have so many engines replaced. That plus plenty of other quality/reliability issues.
Ford is having a lot of engines replaced across their line due to cam phaser issues/oil consumption etc. I wouldn’t of leased a new F-150 if it wasn’t for the unbelievable deal I got on it and the promise of a F-150 loaner from my dealer when things go wrong. Chevs and others have obviously had their well publicized issues over the years, but there is no way I’d trust a new Ford product, especially one like the GT500 the first couple of years. If wait and see what happens with the early adopters. |

That was one thing about the GT350 that I did not like. I will be honest, based on looks alone, it was hard to pass up the Shelby. The problem was tho that for the price they did not offer enough performance. I still kept them on my list of cars that I wanted...at the bottom of the list. But at $50K+ the non-R was the lowest performing car with the least options while the R could not be had without markups. And I had a buddy who bought a non-R with a $5K markup. I told him I was considering one and he told me not to waste my money. He traded his in after 1 year for a brand new 3LZ Z06. LOL!!

I went back to BMW M3/4 for awhile as I know they are pretty reliable, but got bored and missed the V8 etc. I’m glad I tried the ZLE because it is my favorite motor of the three and obviously the best out of the box suspension package for the track. The LT4 has the linearity of an NA engine, but with the obvious pinch of a turbo engine with the SC. I’m really hoping it doesn’t go the way my GT350s did because I really love this car. |
