I can only partially speak for the cooled side of your question, gen5diy.com has a kit to get the cooled part to work. It includes the switches (mounted at the seats), wiring and variable speed drive. I installed the kit on my 1SS 1LE.

As the post stated that you replied to, all Recaro seats for the Camaro have the same hardware. The seats in the 1SS just don't have the wiring/switches from the car to the seats to make the cooling and heating functions work.
