Got lucky last May and found a pre-owned 2023 M6 5BW with the stage 1 & 2 carbon fiber packages, sunroof, performance seat upgrade, PDR, edge red calipers, and red seat belts at a local dealer that sells pre-owned high-performance vehicles.

The Alpha 2 chassis, Global B platform, and 4th Gen mag ride shocks make the 5BW a significant step up from the ZL1.

The 5BW only weighs about 125 lbs more than the ZL1. Even though it has two more doors it doesn't feel any bigger than the ZL1. Visibility is so much better than the Camaro. You don't feel like you're driving in a bunker with the BW.

After almost a year of ownership, I have not once regretted trading my ZL1 for the Cadillac. I know the Corvette folks don't like me saying this, but in my opinion, the 5BW is the best overall performance car GM is currently building.

Legendary plate.

I do get a lot of comments on the plate. I've got a friend who likes to cover up the "F" in Shift when I'm not looking.

...I think we don't realize how much space in the 6th gen Camaro was allocated to the folded top for the convertible.
Yeah on top of the crushed exhaust, the seatbelts are another convertible thing. Only other choice was from the seat itself.

But on the plus side we get a chassis stiff as a teenage ... ehhh nevermind.

Would you mind telling us how much you sold it for?

About two weeks ago I posted that my former ZL1 showed up at a Rick Hendrick owner BMW dealership in Texas with a price of just under $80k. It is no longer listed so I guess it sold.

You can't really assume that. Dealers sometimes move cars that aren't selling to another dealer in the franchise or sell them on the wholesale market to another dealer. Dealers often do this when a car isn't moving after 45-60 days. Considering that car was sitting at a BMW dealership and wasn't moving, it was likely moved to another Hendrick store location, possibly a Chevy store.

Especially if they were trying to move a used car at 80K.

I would be very surprised if they sold it for anything close to $80k. They had the car for only two weeks. Hendrick has a site that you car search for cars at any of their locations. It doesn't show up on there. I'll keep looking for it to pop up somewhere else.

Yea, highly doubtful it sold for near $80k, most likely moved somewhere else.
