P2635 should be disabled with this setup just like it is with Aux pump setups.

Understandably, but I believe that will not work for what I need to do...

Thanks for the clarification Jason. It helps knowing this stuff both beforehand and after the fact. It'll definitely help someone who has or gets this setup in the future.

Anyone know what happened to this kit? It is no longer on Katechs website.

I think they are going under re-evaluation... I hope that's all it is. Otherwise - that's not a good sign for us that have spent time and money on the product.

I just installed a replacement for the one I got earlier in the year, so I'll be seeing what's going on soon I guess.

I'm sure Katech Mike will jump in on this. It's probably a $0.05 cent part from China that is not alliable! They are a quality company and wow do they have a very impressive operation up in Detroit! When they gave me a tour of their operation. It reminded me of the Willy Wonka Chocolate factory, but for higher performance car parts/stuff vs chocolate!

radZ28....

Why did you have to replace your new pump already?

It's probably too long a story, and it's, still, not yet known. I don't know if it will ever be, honestly. I had it out 5-times. The second time was my fault (jet/venturi lines tangled with the float - wouldn't read a full tank of fuel). Third time - fuel wouldn't siphon the driver's side saddle (replaced the primary pump with a brand new one, just in case, because of running that pump dry a few minutes). Fourth time - replaced every hose I touched in the module, just in case there was a leak. Fifth time - new replacement module.

I couldn't get near a commanded pressure from the primary pump, even after replacing it with a new one. So far - the new one seems to be following commanded, but I haven't gotten out on the road yet.

It would be nice to hear what was found. I'm just curious. What a PITA... The thing I know I don't like is the tangle of fuel lines in this module. That was part of the problem. I know and appreciate why it is the way that it is, but it's a real PITA in connect the lines after that thing is in the tank. There is a new competitor that's out there, but at the price, I'm not sure it's worth it. I think it might be easier to install, but pictures only tell part of the total picture, and I don't know if my presumption is right. It's definitely a lot beefier. I don't know if it would fit all my conditions as close as it seems this Katech will though. My case is more "special" than 99% of the people here though.

It is either what radz28 said, or it is my fault after the inquiries I made after install on mine. It is a quality unit. Very difficult to install due to the nature of where the fuel tank lines hook up, especially in car as it was in my situation, but as a whole it is a job I would do all over again for sure if I had to because I'm that impressed with how well it works.

Our current supplier was recently acquired by a larger company. This created some uncertainty on the supply as we have quite a few on order with no firm ETA.

I took them down for the time being until I have a more clear view of when we will begin to receive them again.

I haven't gotten out on the street yet (because of some other testing I'm still trying to do), but everything I'm seeing, this module is following the OEM-commanded pretty closely. Again - this is really just at idle, but the Katech/DW pump is running with the OEM tune very closely. I think Josh' determined the DW400 pump doesn't move much more fuel than the OEM ZL1-pump, so this shouldn't be a surprise I suppose.

I'm going to follow-up with the rest of my review on this module in my thread later, after I get some drive time on it, but I am confident, this time, I've done nothing to impair this module, like could be the case the last time.

The mirroring the Ally controller does from the primary pump is crazy seamless. It's really really on point. Outside of the P2635 code which you have to shut off I understand why this is such a well thought out, well designed setup and priced what it is. It's mostly a set it and forget it sort of setup. I'm really enjoying it!
